Story
Hudson is a 3 year old, 9 lb Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. He is a tiny, adorable dog with a huge personality that will keep you laughing all the time! He loves to play with other dogs and is always the first to make friends when new fosters come into the house. He can hold his own with big dogs and little dogs alike. His favorite activity is running zoomies, and he will run so hard and fast down the hall that he bounces off the wall...but he hops right back up and is ready for more. He also loves to explore the backyard and find the perfect stick or hunt down those annoying cicadas! Hudson doesn't live with kids, but we think he would be ok with kids ages 10 and over. Kids will need to understand that Hudson is not the type of dog to be chased or picked up. Hudson is cuddly and loves to snuggle at night, but prefers it on his own terms. He doesn't love being picked up...it scares him a little...but he is getting more used to it. Having other dogs around is a must for him as it gives him confidence and someone whose lead he can follow. He is housetrained with a dog door but is probably going to mark at first, so if that's a huge deal to you, he's not your dog (remember, he's tiny so the clean-up is negligible). Bring a smile to your face every day - take Hudson home with you! You can apply at www.humanetomorrow.org, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Say Hi to Teddy! He is a 7.5 year old, 12 lb Rat Terrier/Dachshund mix. He is super handsome with his tri-color markings and "outstanding ears"! Teddy loves to be around his people. He is affectionate and likes to lie next to his person or in their lap. He also loves to sneak in a little kiss. When foster mom is in her office, Teddy loves to look out the window, keeping tabs on the birds and squirrels. He is pretty much beyond the playing stage, but he loves to take leisurely walks and is very good on leash. Teddy will do well with other dogs if they are also on the laid-back side, or he could easily be an only dog. He needs a fairly quiet, low activity home, so we are recommending no kids under the age of 10. If you would like to meet Teddy, please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com         Mia is a SUPER sweet approximately one and a half year old 30 lb. border collie/rat terrier mix dog with the personality of an angel.  She is muscular, yet petite, young, very sweet, very smart and an absolute LOVE BUG.  She is extremely well behaved, housebroken and kenneled trained and Mia will ‘go potty’ on command!!  She is perfect in the house by herself (she does have a doggie door), doesn’t chew anything and also sleeps with us all night, excusing herself during the night to ‘go potty’.  She loves cuddling with you in bed and enjoys some playing in the morning.   She LOVES going to the dog park and runs and barks and runs and barks at the other dogs.  She is a border mix so she has a lot of energy.  She goes to the dog park every day with her foster mom to get some of that energy out.  She races at top speed chasing dogs outside the fence line, birds, drones, anything that is moving, she is a bullet to try and get it.  Mia would truly love to have a family with another very active dog or a daily trip to the dog park to run and play.  Because of her energy level, her wonderful agility, ability to jump high and desire to please, her foster mom thinks she would be a fantastic agility dog!! She loves chasing other dogs and being chased and playing with the other dogs.  If you have an active, full of energy pup looking for a friend, she might be perfect for you.  She does great with both small and larger dogs.  She likes to fetch in the house and will often put the toy in your lap or between your legs to encourage you to throw it.  But at the dog park she is all about the other dogs.  She is completely chill at home, but really needs some high energy chasing/playing time to use up some of her border collie power!! She listens very well and will be easy to train too as she wants to please!  She has been going to obedience school and knows how to sit patiently for her dinner, she also knows sits, heel, down, and stay.  She has four perfectly socked feet, a smidge of white at the tip of her tail, and sweet and intelligent eyes.  She is fully grown and weighs in at about 30 lbs.  She is so funny as she can fall asleep standing up.  LOL!  She is absolutely lovely, young, good energy without being annoying, loves everyone and would be happy with a family of her own.  Mia is an absolute doll!!  Please come and meet Mia! Meet Frances (nickname Frannie), shes an adorable little 24 lbs, 2-3 years old, brindle bundle! She enjoys chasing her foster siblings and Dad around the yard. Frannie loves attention from her people and makes a great movie watching snuggle buddy. She also loves patio diners and shopping at Lowes as long as she gets to ride in the cart and help choose the appropriate  decor for your home.   Frannie is housebroken, crate trained and working on basic commands and leash skills. She is very dog friendly! She is more on the active side so a busy family that enjoys walking and taking their dogs on adventures is ideal.  She is the perfect pooch! House, crate and leash trained! DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must  be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Story
Meet Pete, a playful and joyful little boy who knows how to have a good time. Whether it's wrestling with balls, toys, or anything that smells enticing, Pete is up for the challenge. He's even the type to stop and smell the roses, enjoying life's simple pleasures. While Pete can entertain himself, he thrives when another dog is around to share in the fun. After all the excitement of smelling and playing, he's happy to curl up in your arms, on your lap, or by your side for a relaxing "chill" session. Pete's personality is nothing short of huge, promising to bring amazement wherever he goes. This lovable pup is fond of kids, dogs, and anyone willing to spend quality time with him during the day. Despite his adventurous past of wandering around train tracks and causing a traffic pause when he was found, Pete is not a daredevil – he's just a guy on the lookout for a loving family to call his own. If you're ready for a bundle of joy with a big heart, Pete is the perfect addition to your home. ##1872059##
