Story
Meet Brooklyn! Brooklyn has come a long way from her past as a breeder surrender pup. She is learning to be a dog and loves playing or cuddling with her foster siblings. She is still a bit timid around strangers, and she's looking for that special person who will give her patience and time to adjust. Once she gets to know you, she will reward you with unconditional love.Brooklyn is very food motivated, which has helped with training; however, she is still working on being potty accident free.Brooklyn enjoys her bed, preferably near her human at all times. She is very sweet and her eyes have so much love that she's ready to give. She enjoys cuddling on the couch or bed or with her fur friends. Will anyone take a chance on this beautiful 4 year old Rat Terrier and show her the good sides of life?To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Hudson is a 3 year old, 9 lb Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. He is a tiny, adorable dog with a huge personality that will keep you laughing all the time! He loves to play with other dogs and is always the first to make friends when new fosters come into the house. He can hold his own with big dogs and little dogs alike. His favorite activity is running zoomies, and he will run so hard and fast down the hall that he bounces off the wall...but he hops right back up and is ready for more. He also loves to explore the backyard and find the perfect stick or hunt down those annoying cicadas! Hudson doesn't live with kids, but we think he would be ok with kids ages 10 and over. Kids will need to understand that Hudson is not the type of dog to be chased or picked up. Hudson is cuddly and loves to snuggle at night, but prefers it on his own terms. He doesn't love being picked up...it scares him a little...but he is getting more used to it. Having other dogs around is a must for him as it gives him confidence and someone whose lead he can follow. He is housetrained with a dog door but is probably going to mark at first, so if that's a huge deal to you, he's not your dog (remember, he's tiny so the clean-up is negligible). Bring a smile to your face every day - take Hudson home with you! You can apply at www.humanetomorrow.org, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Tweety is a happy, friendly, “young at heart” terrier mix who loves to play. If it wasn’t for the few gray hairs, you would never guess her age. She loves to run and play, and she keeps the younger dogs in her foster home on their toes. Tweety hopes to find a forever home with another small, playful dog and a fenced yard to run around in. Our vet estimates Tweety to be about 11 years old, with no known health issues. She is house trained and sleeps in her dog bed at night. Tweety likes walks and she rides great in the car. This little 12-pound pup would be an excellent travel companion. Please complete an adoption application through our website at https://www.dashingdogrescue.com/application-adoption.php

Story
Hello! They call me Babadook, and I`m as silly as my name! I`m a 9 month old Rat Terrier. I love being around people and sometimes I get a little jealous when the humans here play with the other dogs before me. When they finally pick me up, I wrap my arms around them and give a tight hug! I love being held!I also like dancing around and saying what`s on my mind. A family that is willing to dedicate extra time to harnessing my energy and helping me learn commands will be best for me. I would really like to learn things like `sit,` `fetch,` and how to use the bathroom outside. I know I can do it with your help! Sometimes I get so excited that I get a little mouthy. I just have so much energy, I need to let it out! But, I might be best in a home with some older kids. My health is good! I`m in tip top shape and will probably stay about this size. Are you ready to party? Well then, come down to Grand Prairie Animal Shelter and let`s meet!

Story
Pete is a playful, happy little boy. He loves to wrestle with balls, toys, and anything that smells good! He actually goes around to smell the roses outside. Pete will entertain himself but he loves having another dog around too. When he done smelling and playing, he's happy to curl up in your arms, lap, or at your side and "chill". Pete has a huge personality and will be amazing where ever he goes. He loves kids, dogs, and people who will give him some time during the day. Though he was found wandering his way around the train tracks and stopped traffic when he was picked up, Pete is not a daredevil but just a guy looking for a family.  Please visit our website at tmhpr.com for more information about our organization and our available pets.  Safe pet home visits & vet checks are required. For this reason, we only adopt locally - in the Dallas area. If you are interested in meeting or adopting one of our available pets, please fill out the adoption application found at:   tmhpr.com .
