Meet our sweet, beautiful girl Arya! She is approximately 8 years old and 60 lbs of pure love! Arya is super sweet, very affectionate, mellow, smart, and funny. She is the goodest girl who will do anything for a yummy treat! She absolutely loves her belly rubs and can often be found on her back, legs stretched out, waiting for her pets! She needs a little bit of time to warm up to a new environment or person, but once she gets comfortable, she will shower you with so much affection every day, everywhere. Here’s how to describe this sweet pea: - Walks great on leash (loves going on walks) - Easy to train as she’s super food motivated (food will make her do anything) - Smart and picks up new tricks/toys quickly - Crate and house trained - Loves to spend time with her human. She’ll be happy just sitting next to you - Very good in the car - Very good with brushing teeth, cleaning ears, shower - Loves belly rubs and pets - Loves squeaky toys - Good with other calm large dogs - She takes a daily anti-inflammatory for her minor arthritis but has no problem going on walks and living a happy life! :) As Arya needs a little bit of time to warm up, an adults-only home is recommended. Duke was adopted approximately five years ago from PetSmart, he was part of the high Desert rescue. We got him I believe and he was about 5 to 6 months old. He and his sister were part of the adoption. We only took Duke. He was extremely skinny. He had just recovered from Pavel. We are in the process of possibly purchasing a pure breed dog, and my daughter fell in love with him. Duke is an amazing dog he’s been beneficial to our family, as well as the mental state of our eldest daughter who struggles with depression. Unfortunately, over the last several years, Duke’s anxiety has increased specifically in the area we live, which is prone to fireworks and loud noises. We live in a single-family home in the city of Rancho Cucamonga, he’s well fed taken care of, but this has been a conversation with my family and I for over a year we feel at this point we are unable to provide the emotional need that Duke deserves.
