Blue was born on April 7, 2023. He is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves to cuddle and give plenty of kisses. Blue is naturally curious and enjoys following his people around just to see what they’re up to. He truly wants to be part of every moment. He prefers being indoors where he can stay close to his family, but he also enjoys going for walks and car rides. Blue is a smart protective, and very trainable boy who drives on attention and companionship. He would do best with someone who could provide him with regular walks and mental stimulation to keep his mind active and happy Blue would make a wonderful addition to a loving home that can offer him both affection and engagement every day.

Story
Lemon belonged to a coworker who dumped her after adopting her as a puppy and having her for 4 years… he dumped her at the shelter where she stopped eating.. drinking.. urinating and walking.. she wouldn’t even interact with volunteers.. Lemon was said to have been going after the families female dog only after being starved for 6 days by a neighbor who was supposed to be watching her and the families 3 other dogs… Lemon was so severely shut down she was scheduled for euthanasia so I went and picked her up. The rescue who had originally backed her abandon her with me claiming they had no money.. Lemon was severely ill when I got her and required almost 1k In medical care I provided out of pocket. I am currently fundraising for lemon to receive training for her fear and inability to trust people.. she is so loving when she knows you.. quiet.. silly.. potty trained.. leash trained and crated trained.. she needs an experienced home with no animals or small children.

Story
Athena is is an overall great dog, she is very loving and loyal. She is a very good guard dog. She is house broken. When we had cats in the house she did not mind them so much but did get along with them or kept her distance. She is okay with kids but sometimes nervous around them. She is a calm but high energy dog. At the moment she has an extremely high anxiety issue in the morning usually from hearing birds chirp, it last most of the day and she has to be next to someone most of the time. I currently have her on medication to control some of that anxiety. But at times anxiety gets the best of her and she scratches or tries to hide in different places of the house , it becomes disruptive to other persons in the house. I work nights so I can not sleep when she does this during the day, also my wife works full time at home and it disrupts her work and my mother in law that lives with us has Alzheimer's and it is very hard to manage all of this going on. Please help.

Max is 4 years old. He is a Rhodesian ridgeback mix who has high energy and loves to go running. Max does not care too much for other dogs or humans. He warms up with time. He loves to explore off leash when hiking. He does learn new things if you train him, such as shaking paws or catching snacks. He is actually a great watch/alert dog. All bark no bite. Strangers are scared of him when they see him barking but he has never harmed anyone if you are looking for that type of security. He is sweet and needs someone that can give him more time and energy (something we ended up not having eventually).
