He was rescued from a California shelter in very rough shape - he had major skin issues/hair loss and had clearly been neglected, but now he looks so much better, and continues to be on good salmon food and supplements. He's appreciative of love and attention and is a very affectionate boy. Howie is a big snuggler and will want to share your bed! He loves going for walks and other outings. He is good with some dogs but not others, so would probably thrive as the only dog in the home, or with a submissive female. He's been waiting a long time for his own home, and we're hoping he can find a home by the end of the year. Howie currently needs a foster or forever home.
