Amigo is approximately 5 years, around 40 pounds, neutered, fully vaccinated & microchipped Rotti mix breed. He is crate trained but needs patience and practice with potty & leash training~ soon he will be a pro of all three!! He is affectionate, playful but can be a bit nervous when first met with unexpected changes. Amigo gets along well with most dogs (but also a little dominant so we suggest he be paired with a female companion), adults and older children alike. Given his adaptability, he should be able to learn your family’s routine rather quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!! Amigo was rescued from the streets of Tecate very neglected, malnourished, suffering with TVT and a broken paw due to an old injury. Fortunately he is now flourishing under the loving care of a foster. His TVT was treated and while he still limps; he is pain free (Feb 2024) Amigo has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide him patience, affection and attention he craves. He deserves a warm and loving home where he can feel cherished as a member of the family!!!

Ruby is affectionate, docile at the beginning and yet she is sociable and warms up quickly in an unfamiliar environment. She gets along with other dogs as well as children. Ruby was left to be euthanized at the vet by her owner because she contracted TVT but after 9 chemo treatments and a clean cytology test, she is now flourishing under the care of FHSTJ. (Nov 2024). She is up to date on all her vaccines, micrichipped and spayed as well as crate trained and good on leash. Ruby has a lot of love to share and longs for a family that can provide her with the affection and attention she craves. She deserves a warm and loving home where she can feel cherished as a member of the family. Given her adaptability she should be able to learn your family’s routine quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!
