Story
Oliver is a young, energetic, Rottie boy that is sweet and sensitive and great with people. He will need someone who is willing to put time into training but Oliver is receptive and willing, and with that, he will be an amazing canine companion. Oliver is good with other large dogs, we have not had him with small dogs or cats. He will chase livestock so he needs to be a city boy. If he's to be outside unsupervised, his home must have a six foot fence.

Story
Rebar is a beautiful long-coated rottweiler. He is sweet, calm, and easy going. Rebar Is happy to be in the house chilling with his people or playing with his toys. He is purebred and was sold as a puppy but now that he's an adult, he was dumped by the freeway, and ended up on the shelters kill list. The person that bred him had aleady gotten his money and refused to take him back and rehome him as a responsible breeder would do. Rebar has a stocky, muscular build and deserves the respinsible loving home he should have had all along.

Story
Kona Female 3.5yrs old Approx 65-70lbs. Rescued from Riverside Shelter the day she was set to euthanized for URI. She looks like she was used for breeding. She is timid, sweet and loyal and loving as can be. She greets new people hesitantly but kindly. Walks beautifully on a leash. She is small dog selective so we prefer no small dogs, or small children. She currently lives with a Male Rottie and they get along wonderfully. She is potty trained w/doggie door, takes treats gently. She waits for command (OK) to eat her food. She loves her toys!! She loves going for car rides. She’s a good girl and can be the ONLY dog OR good with another male her size or larger.

Story
Benny is a very large, handsome rottie with a docked tail. He is estimated to be 4 years old. Benny was rescued from a shelter on the day he was to be euthanized.  He had injuries to his feet and legs when we got him, but with vet care we provided, he us now completely healed. Despite his XL size and imposing appearance, Benny is sensitive, gentle, very loving and sweet. He can be timid with new things and people, and loud noises and some people sometimes scare him. Benny has spent the last several months with a very caring foster in the Seattle area, where he is currently. She has spent a great deal of time training Benny. Benny is house trained, crate trained, and knows sit, down and come. Benny loves toys and playing fetch with a ball. Benny is laid back and low energy.  He is great hanging around the house with his people.  Benny lets his foster caretaker cut his toenails and clean his ears for treats. Benny may be good in a home with another dog, but introductions should be handled carefully.  We don’t know how Benny would be with an indoor cat. Benny will require a patient and kind adoptor thats willing to work with him on raising his confidence and continuing his training. As with all adoptions, it will take time for a dog to settle in and it may take even somewhat more time for Benny to get comfortable and be the relaxed, sweet and loving companion we know him to be. His patient adopter will reap the reward however, as a truer, move devoted companion will be hard to find!

Story
Scarlett is a beautiful three year old rottweiler female. She is great with people and loves to be with them. She'd be an awesome only dog and may be good with with another large dog, probably best if male. She loves to ride in the car and is a very good passenger. She has prey drive and LOVES LOVES tennis balls and little squeaky toys. She takes treats REALLY well. She sits before her meals when asked to do so. She understands basic commands such as sit, down, off (a bit of a counter surfer) and no. She walks fairly well on the leash. Scarlett will be spayed on 6/18 and will be available for adoption once healed (late June early July 2023)

Story
Hi, this is Sebastian he is a full breed boxer and he is 2 years old. He’s very social and loves attention and hugs. He has grown up around his 2 other brothers from same litter but unfortunately due to moving I cannot keep him. He’s very friendly and loves to run and play catch. He loves making friends at the dog park. He has a great personality and we are so sad to have to see him go. He need’s special attention to his diet because he’s allergic to chicken and eats a salmon & rice blend dog food. Also he has sensitive skin due to these food allergies. He’s the smallest out of all his brothers I’d say he weighs low 60’s lbs! He is microchipped and he is fixed. With up to date shots!

Story
Dijon is one pup out of a litter of 10 that my dog had on accident. One of the photos he is sitting next to his mother who is the doberman mix and his father is a malinois mix. Dijon is a very loyal and sweet puppy, he is almost 4 months old now and is nearly fully potty trained. He will stand at the door when he needs to go out and loves the praise for going outside. Dijon is also very smart, he knows how to sit and lay down already and is mastering giving a paw. Dijon gives the most serious eye contact that indicates how loving and loyal he will be with his forever parents. I personally love him to death and am so proud of how he has grown since a little baby. Dijon deserves a good home that will show him the world, take him out to the park, and spoil him like he deserves. Dijon plays very well with his siblings and holds his own when playing with his mother. He loves toys and chasing around. He still is a puppy so he is learning not to bite but will get nippy when super excited.

Story
Cairo is a handsome gentleman with manners to boot. He is crate trained and house broken and not a barker in the home ( only when needed ). He has been trained on all is commands and does them very well. He would be best with someone that knows the breed and is a string handler since this handsome dog weighs 85 lbs. He loves to play with his toys and play fetch. , it would be important for him to have a nice size yard. He is good with little dogs (he grew up with one) but you would wand to always do slow introductions with other dogs. He does well in the car and at the vet and the groomer. He is a great dog overall. He has be Neutered , Vaccinated and Microchipped. If you would like the wonderful dog please contact Vicky@760-672-2258. We are a rescue so an adoption fee will apply. Please go to our website to fill out our application. http://www.k9connectionpetadoption.org Please use a computer or a laptop. No children under 16.
