Story
Eddie is a great dog but in an unfortunate situation due to my geriatric parents old age and declining health, so he needs a new home. He is about 18 months old, a very energetic and happy pup. We are working on building basic training skills now which he is picking up quickly. He is currently an outside only dog so will need basic home etiquette and potty training. He needs more socializing with other dogs and I would say currently is about 50/50 with getting along or not, but improving daily. Eddie LOVES to play ball, he will go until you need a rest. His favorite is a half deflated volley ball but he loves every ball. He needs an active home where he can run around and have lots of play time and attention. Best case scenario for Eddie would be as an only dog, in a home with no small children, with able-bodied, active adults. He is good on leash and would be an excellent running or hiking buddy. It breaks our hearts to rehome but we want what is best for him.

Tex is the sweetest dog in the world!!! He is so gentle and calm; 9 weeks old today. Loves to cuddle, loves chew toys. And I’ve already taught him how to sit. He does very well with commands at such a young age. My son is on the spectrum and only 2 and unfortunately he is too scared to have a dog in the house despite Tex being the sweet dog he is. He is micro chipped, neutered, and has all of his vaccines up to date. I have all of his vaccinations as well as medical history available via email I will transfer over. (714)916-4962. You’ll be lucky to have Tex in your home.

Story
Zoe Queen was found living in a trash dump in Tijuana by one of our fosters. The foster tried several times to collect her and her puppies but was unsuccessful. She was finally safely captured and taken to one of our partner veterinarians. She had a complete checkup and it was found she was pregnant again! Her previous litter did not make it due to extreme conditions and lack of food. It was recommended that the pregnancy be terminated for her health, which is a sad fact of street dog life. Now Zoe Queen is ready for her forever home with a loving, caring family who will treasure her like a "Queen" for the rest of her life!! She is sweet and friendly and gets along with other dogs. ##1917446##

Story
Scarlett is a 1 and a half-years-old unaltered female Rottweiler, who is in need of a loving home. She is a 55-60 lbs. love bug who is on the smaller size for her breed description. Great with kids 5 and up but would be careful with smaller kiddos because she is still unaware of her own size and might accidentally knock them over. When not properly stimulated with walks this big girl is a digger and chewer. We recommend having a good selection of chew toys to keep her entertained but with care, she is a very good girl. Scarlett is crate-trained, potty-trained, bath-trained, and does really well on car rides. She is still young and will definitely make a perfect family member in a loving, attentive, and caring home. Loves belly scratches, and giving kisses.

Story
Rocky is a Rottweiler Mix, his estimated date of birth is 2/7/12 and he weighs 75 lbs. He is up to date on all of his shots and he is fixed. Rocky is OK with people but is not good with kids, cats, or small dogs. Rocky has a habit of jumping and he has a tendency to try to escape so he would need a home that was very secure. Rocky has food aggression and is very possessive of toys and people. He can sometimes have an over protective drive to certain people.  Rocky can be very vocal and would require a home with a lot of space as Rocky prefers to roam and would become destructive if restricted in a small space. Rocky is not good with new people or places and can be aggressive to other male dogs. He requires regular grooming and requires a special diet. Rocky is afraid of water and can become agitated by running water or large areas of water. He has a habit of dumping out his water dish. Rocky is not good on a leash despite repeated training and still has issues with house training and marking. We do not have a central location to see our dogs.  Meeting any dog is by appointment ONLY currently.
