Story
This is a courtesy listing, not a SPOT Rescue dog. For more information regarding Bandit, contact Olivia below.. Bandit is a handsome Rottweiler just a little over a year old, He's big, between 100 and 110 Lbs; but he is a gentle giant who loves people, any and all. Bandit is young and has high energy, so would be good with an active family. He's very curious about the world. He's always up for adventures and exploring new places. He loves going out on weekend restaurant dates, though there can be some work with getting to know smaller dogs. A home with space outside would be ideal as he needs a space to run and play. Training will be needed if he is around livestock. Bandit is an awesome dog and just wants to play as most pups of his age do! Adoption Fee: $300 If Bandit sounds like a good match for your family, please contact Olivia at os.oliviaschneider@gmail.com or (619) 888-6577 Rottweiler Male born 10/20/22 Neutered Shots up to date Future best friend :)

Story
Zoe is a big, lean girl and is about 70 pounds. She will be 3 years old this August. She came to me via a shelter in LA, where she had been for 400 days, more than half of her young life. She was surrendered to them when she was 6 months old. She is a lover and very sweet, and thinks she’s a lap dog. It may take her a short time for her to warm up, as she is quite shy and will be skittish with new people. She seems to warm up to women more quickly than men. She is still a little hesistant of new surrounds but she is OPEN to it. It takes her a little time but she does warm up to new surroundings and new people. She got to meet a new dog today and although she was a little weary in the beginning, she did want to investigate more after a few minutes and she did great! Just imagine being stuck in the same place for your whole life and suddenly being thrown into a new gigantic environment. It is super stressful. I'd say Zoe Bear is killin it! She loves her little ducky and doing zoomies in the yard. She walks pretty well on a leash and has been working with our lovely trainer Shannon at DoggyTech to master it! She is a rough play-er so being in a home with dogs her size would be best. She is a super lover so once she gets used to you, she will lick you to pieces! She likes men, but again, it might take her a minute to get used to them. She is potty trained, vaccinated, and ready to start her furever!

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Rocky is a Rottweiler Mix, his estimated date of birth is 2/7/12 and he weighs 75 lbs. He is up to date on all of his shots and he is fixed. Rocky is OK with people but is not good with kids, cats, or small dogs. Rocky has a habit of jumping and he has a tendency to try to escape so he would need a home that was very secure. Rocky has food aggression and is very possessive of toys and people. He can sometimes have an over protective drive to certain people.  Rocky can be very vocal and would require a home with a lot of space as Rocky prefers to roam and would become destructive if restricted in a small space. Rocky is not good with new people or places and can be aggressive to other male dogs. He requires regular grooming and requires a special diet. Rocky is afraid of water and can become agitated by running water or large areas of water. He has a habit of dumping out his water dish. Rocky is not good on a leash despite repeated training and still has issues with house training and marking. We do not have a central location to see our dogs.  Meeting any dog is by appointment ONLY currently. Appointments can be set up to meet any dog in San Diego. Currently we are unable to do any out-of-state adoptions. If you are interested in a particular dog please FILL OUT an Adoption Application at our website @ http://bajadogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt/adopt and we can schedule you for an appointment to meet with a particular dog if it is available. We do require an application if you are interested in adoption.  If you are interested in potentially adopting please fill out an application at http://bajadogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt/adopt. Story
Jenny is friendly, playful and energetic but is just as happy chilling on her bed by you wherever you are. She would more than love to curl up on the couch with you too, if you let her. Adventures and car rides are easy, some “head out the window” time, some snoozing time and if you go in the store for a minute, she’ll be standing up waiting for you to get back. Even when we go get groceries, she pays no mind to nice folks that load up our loot. This girl is also very smart, looks for approval, has fallen in with routines well and learned, or is relearning, obedience quickly! We’ve been working on her excitement to run through the door before you and she has learned quickly to wait and look for the ok. Her adopter or foster must be diligent to keep her safe from getting out open doors or gates and into mischief about own. She does have a ‘lil rap sheet with the county so that has to be accounted for. She is fine in the house alone, not destructive at all. She just snoozes or looks out the window when she hears noises. She loves to play and run and is super-fast in zoomie mode! She is agile as well and a great jumper! Her toy play knowledge is minimal so she can be taught lots of good play habits. She has not shown any food, toy or treat guarding towards humans but is untested with other dogs so far. She is treat motivated but once she learns the command she’s just as happy with affection reward alone. When she knows she’s a good girl she wiggles all over. Martini is housebroken. She is good during a bath and likes to be brushed too. On walks she’s fairly non-reactive to dogs, squirrels etc. but inside she is much more attentive and will give chase to small furry friends and bearded dragons for sure. No to cats. She would be fine with an older child but her wiggles and size would be too much for small kids. She is about 4.5 years old, 70 lbs., spayed, brindle with a white diamond on her back. It’s so fitting. Her physique is stunning now that she is eating well and has filled in, gorgeous girl!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Boxer Mix Spayed Female 7 years 40 pounds Bunnie is a sweet and snuggly boxer mix on the hunt for her forever home. She enjoys spending her days playing, sleeping with her favorite fuzzy blanket, and getting the zoomies. A lover of all things people, she is bound to make friends wherever she goes, but she would prefer to get all of the attention to her self, and would thrive as the only pet in the home. Bunnie is potty trained and does well in apartment living, but would be happiest in a home with a yard.
