Hello Our dog Choko has been with us since he was 8 weeks old. He is now 3 1/2 years old. He has been raised in a loving family environment and has always been socialized around other humans and other pets. He loves walks, being in the water, sleeping at your feet, and playing tug of war with his toys. He is a very sweet, friendly and loyal big boy. He is a “big boy” weighing in at about 140lbs. However, he’s never been high maintenance or had any illnesses. Everyone that meets him, falls in love with him and his sincere eyes. Unfortunately, he now has an injury to his hind legs that we simply cannot afford to pay. We would love to find a home for him where he can continue to be an active and loyal friend. As much as this pains us, we know there is someone out there that can accommodate his precious life. Please help… with gratitude 🙏

Most likely because he is grateful that he escaped euthanasia at the high kill Downey Shelter.
