Story
#A5752687 Mane is a 1-year, 1-month-old male Rottweiler with a classic black and brown coat and a big, handsome presence. Found as a stray on January 29, 2026, Mane weighs 94.5 lbs and is every bit the strong, beautiful young Rottie, but right now, he’s feeling overwhelmed and shut down in the shelter environment. Mane is very shy and tends to take treats and quietly walk away, unsure of his surroundings. Beneath that timid exterior is a big boy with a lot of love to give. He’ll need a patient, experienced home willing to move slowly, build trust, and help him gain confidence. With reassurance and structure, Mane has the potential to blossom into a loyal, devoted companion. He is adoptable with a $50 trust deposit and is ready for a fresh start in a calm, understanding home. -1 year, 1 month old, male, 94.5 lbs -Rottweiler, black and brown coat -Found as a stray on 01/29/2026 -Very shy and shut down in the shelter -Takes treats gently but withdraws -Big, handsome boy with a sweet nature -Needs a patient, experienced adopter -Adoptable with a $50 trust deposit -Loyal companion potential with time and trust     MANE’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/unPk0Fs3hOM     For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org     ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
Sabrina is a beautiful Rottweiler that I rescued in Ventura, California, January 2025. since then, we’ve only had one brief separation between the two, but I’ve cared for her the majority of the time since having her. It’s been fun and a blessing nonetheless, but I just don’t have the availability like I use to anymore. I’m a single dog mom in a 1 bdr indoor apartment community. Sabrina has really bad separation anxiety issues. She has no one other than me to take care of her and I have not been as available. I know if I continue this behavior issues will arise, and it will simply just stress me out even more instead I’ve decided to just rehome Sabrina to a family that is more deserving, more available and has more space to love and care for Sabrina. She’s sweet and so adorable and so protective. I have some traveling work to be done and I am looking for the perfect home for Sabrina.

Story
#A5758201 Say hello to Wiatt , a 9-year-old Doberman Pinscher with undeniable movie-star good looks - long, lean, endlessly leggy, and sporting that classic black-and-brown coat reminiscent of a rich pint of Guinness. &#226&#156&#168 The perfect match for any Dobie lover, Wiatt proves that age is just a number. This handsome boy is a spicy senior , still full of pep and personality! True to his breed, Wiatt is whip-smart, alert, and capable of forming an incredibly deep bond once he knows he’s found his forever person. The shelter kennel isn’t his best look - he’s a big, energetic guy who still needs plenty of physical and mental stimulation to stay happy, and Dobies truly thrive when they’re given a job to do. Because of his size and energy, Wiatt would do best in an adults-only home where his boundaries will be respected. Take a chance on this darling old man, and you’ll gain a loyal, protective, and affectionate velcro companion who will stick by your side and keep a loving watch over his family. &#239&#184&#143 -9 year old black and tan Doberman Pinscher -67 pound male - may need to be neutered upon adoption, but the shelter can likely help with this! -may also need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this too -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 2/26/26 as a stray -may come across as guarded in his kennel, but should do much better once out and at home with you, where he can decompress and find comfort in a new routine with this people -best for an adults only household, given his strong personality and high energy level -perfect for Dobie lovers, especially those who have prior experience with the breed      WIATT’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/9wkooRaxL2k     For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org   ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter.
