#A5747248 Say hello to Rita , our 5-year-old Rottweiler mix and the ultimate chonky love muffin, with perfectly squishy rolls that just beg for pets. She’s like a little teddy bear wrapped in a luxurious black-and-brown coat, impossible not to adore. Rita came in as a stray with a leg injury, which sadly required amputation, but this resilient girl is adjusting beautifully to life as a tripod. With a little extra TLC and patience, she’ll be bouncing back to her best self and running around on three legs in no time! She may be a bit shy at the shelter, peeking up with big, soulful puppy-dog eyes, but give her time to decompress and her true, loving personality will shine through. Story
#A5752687 Mane is a 1-year, 1-month-old male Rottweiler with a classic black and brown coat and a big, handsome presence. Found as a stray on January 29, 2026, Mane weighs 94.5 lbs and is every bit the strong, beautiful young Rottie, but right now, he’s feeling overwhelmed and shut down in the shelter environment. Mane is very shy and tends to take treats and quietly walk away, unsure of his surroundings. Beneath that timid exterior is a big boy with a lot of love to give. He’ll need a patient, experienced home willing to move slowly, build trust, and help him gain confidence. With reassurance and structure, Mane has the potential to blossom into a loyal, devoted companion. He is adoptable with a $50 trust deposit and is ready for a fresh start in a calm, understanding home. -1 year, 1 month old, male, 94.5 lbs -Rottweiler, black and brown coat -Found as a stray on 01/29/2026 -Very shy and shut down in the shelter -Takes treats gently but withdraws -Big, handsome boy with a sweet nature -Needs a patient, experienced adopter -Adoptable with a $50 trust deposit -Loyal companion potential with time and trust     MANE’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/unPk0Fs3hOM     For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org     ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
#A5752686 Say hello to Rio ,  a 1 year 9 month old Rottweiler and the most perfect chonky lover boy you’ll ever meet! With his thicc and sturdy, extra-cuddly build, big toothy grin, and deep warm brown eyes topped with the cutest tiny tan eyebrows, he’s pure rottie perfection. Just past his baby years and having spent time as a stray, Rio would likely benefit from a refresher on puppy basics - leash skills, potty training, manners, and socialization - to help him thrive as you navigate his “teen” era together. He’s got all the best qualities of his breed: loyal, playful, and vibrantly energetic, wrapped up in one sweet package. Despite not having the easiest start, his heart is wide open and ready to soak up all the love and affection a safe, cozy forever home can offer. If you love Rotties, you’re going to fall head over heels for Rio! - 1 year 9 month old black and brown Rottweiler  - no medical notes, so Rio may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before you can take him home, as well as a neuter and correction of his cherry eyes (a surprisingly quick and easy fix!)  - but the shelter can likely help with this! Loki is a 9-year-old male Rottweiler mix with the heart of a gentle giant. This sweet senior has a calm, mild nature and is as easy-going as they come. He walks beautifully on leash, takes treats with the softest mouth, and is simply a joy to be around. At his age, Loki isn’t looking for high-energy adventures — just a warm, soft bed, a relaxed lifestyle, and a family who will appreciate his quiet companionship. He may be a little stiff, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying gentle walks and soaking up affection. Loki is the perfect match for someone who wants a loyal, loving friend to share life’s quieter moments. He’s ready to bring warmth, comfort, and devotion into his forever home. Story
I am looking to rehome my 5-year-old purebred female Doberman. She is spayed and AKC registered. She is a beautiful, intelligent dog but can be reactive with some people and other dogs, so she will do best with an experienced Doberman or working-breed owner who understands reactivity and can provide consistent structure and training. She would thrive in a calm, stable home and may do best as the only dog. This is a very difficult decision, and I want to ensure she goes to a safe, knowledgeable, and loving home. Serious inquiries only.
