Whether in the pool or out, Mia loves playing with toys and is a superstar at fetch – she almost always returns her toy to you for another round! And if you throw it into the pool, she’ll launch herself off of the “diving board” to retrieve it. Once she’s done “bobbing for toys”, she`ll run around with her favorite one and joyfully throw it into the air. Tiny is a gorgeous and exceptionally sweet Rottweiler who is 90 pounds (could stand to lose a few) and is estimated to be 1 or 2 years old. He could be a Labrador and Rottie mix. He is neutered, well-behaved (incredibly sweet, respectful, and obedient), calm, and is great with other dogs. At the shelter he was tested with a playful unnuetered male, and a shy female. He was rescued from an abusive owner and has now been at a Los Angeles city shelter since mid January. Looking for a foster who can take him home so we can learn more about his personality and needs, and find the best forever home for him.

Story

Moka is our miracle dog—tough and resilient. As a puppy, she broke two of her legs, one front and one back. At one point, her vet warned us that if she didn’t recover, her quality of life might suffer, and we had to prepare for the possibility of losing her. She spent nearly half of 2018 in a cast. Fast forward to today, and she’s been an irreplaceable part of our family ever since. However, we’ve always had this lingering worry—have we done enough for her? Living in a small apartment, we sometimes wonder if she deserves a bigger space. We've made it work, despite our busy lives, especially with our autistic child, who is now five. Financially and physically, it’s been challenging to balance Moka's needs with the demands of our family. She truly deserves the best, and that's the only reason why I’m considering rehoming her—to give her the space and attention she deserves from a family who can offer more than we can right now.
