Meet Coco, a resilient and loving 9-year-old Rottweiler with a heart as big as her spirit. Despite living with Masticatory Muscle Myositis, an immune system disorder that affects her jaw muscles, Coco remains a joyful and athletic companion. This condition means she can’t open her mouth all the way, so she’s on a special home-cooked diet rich in meat and eggs to keep her strength up and takes a daily pill to manage her condition. Coco adores her walks and can be a bit of a puller on the leash if she spots another dog, but she’s always great with people. She’s super athletic and enjoys her time outdoors. Although she can’t play with toys or chew on treats due to her condition, she loves liquid treats and is happy and content in the car. A total sweetheart with a loving demeanor, Coco is also fine being left alone for periods. She’s looking for a compassionate home where she can continue to thrive and enjoy her walks, special meals, and the affection she so generously gives. Boogie was rescued just as the new year dawned, and ever since, he's been making up for lost time by soaking in every bit of joy life has to offer, especially if it involves lounging in the dirt after a playful run! This gentle guy is all about balance. He’ll happily curl up for a cozy nap, yet he perks right up when it’s time for a sniff-filled stroll or a quick game of fetch (though, fair warning, he might just bring the toy back for you to hold while he chews it). Boogie’s a sucker for antlers, dirt patches, and the simple pleasure of a good outdoor adventure! He knows a few classic commands like “sit,” “down,” and “stay,” and he’s working hard with a trainer to manage his leash reactivity. While Boogie has gotten along with certain dogs in foster care, he prefers to keep his social circle small. Boogie has a big heart especially for his best friend, Baby. Laurel was surrendered at the Palmdale shelter along with a husky buddy. Her husky friend was adopted right away, but Laurel was left to fend for herself. Despite being left behind, Laurel had the best attitude ever! She received the highest grades at the shelter for good behavior. She loves all people and all other dogs. Her favorite thing is to play, play, play. She is very gentle and the sweetest girl ever. No one can say a bad thing about her.
