Available to foster or adopt!Breed: Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Chihuahua, Boxer, Great Dane, Pit Bull and Peruvian Inca Orchid X DOB: 8/2022 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: medium Color(s): black / red brown Description:***Needs a Foster Home***This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application.Hi, I'm Sonora, a beautiful, joyful and entertaining Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Chihuahua, Boxer, Great Dane, Pit Bull and Peruvian Inca Orchid X, whew that was a mouthful, (dna test) who is in need of a forever home. I had a rough start in life and was found abandoned in the mountains in Sonora, Mexico (hence my name) with a head injury and very sick as a puppy. Some vacationing hikers found me and brought me back to the US to take care of me. I'm healthy now and ready for adoption.I'm not always the easiest dog to manage, but I've had formal training and a few foster families to help me learn how to behave in a home. I've learned a lot, but still have some learning to do. I'm very smart so I know I can continue to learn more.I love running around, cuddling and playing with other dogs. I'm very high energy, love to go on walks, but can be reactive to triggers when on leash. Another dog in the home would be great, but that dog would need to be able to handle my energy level. I need a yard to get my daily zoomies in.If I'm going to be left alone, I need to be confined in a dog proof area or in a crate. I'm not suited for apartment life. I can be shy with strangers at first, but I'm quick to fall in love with most people. Although I've been supervised around young children and did great with them, I tend to jump and play nip when excited so would do best in a dog experienced adult home.I might do ok with cats. A couple of the foster homes had cats and I ignored them or left them alone, but I was never unattended with them.If you're looking for an active great gal and can give me the structure and environment that I need to thrive, please put in an application to meet me. Minimum 6 foot fence. Thank you to Tara for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving her the chance for a better life. March 13, 2026, 5:44 pm

I'm a big boy who walks well on leash and I'm learning to take treats nicely. I used to live in a home with children (ages unknown) and with Envy, who was also abandoned. They say I resource guard toys from other dogs. It's unknown at this time if I am good with cats. Story
Meet Solo - Your Loyal Best Friend Solo is a handsome 6-year old Rottweiler mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. He thrives on human companionship and is happiest when he is by your side whether you’re relaxing at home, playing with toys, or getting lots of pets! Solo is incredibly loyal, curious, and eager to please. He knows a variety of commands and is highly responsive, making him a joy to work with and an excellent companion. He is crate trained and house trained as well so it’s no problem for him to hold down the fort while you’re away. He is in great health, has no medical issues, and is up to date on all his vaccines. He is one hunk of love. He is ready to settle into his next home and continue being the wonderful companion he’s always been. In fact he has served as an emotional support animal as well. Solo would do best as the only pet in the home as he is reactive and doesn’t get along with other animals. Truly is a fantastic love bug for his owners

Story
Meet Willow, a sweet adult dog who is as independent as she is brave. She's incredibly smart, which shines through in her playful antics and loyal demeanor. Willow thrives in a quiet home environment where she can enjoy her own space and time and would do well with a mature adult person or couple and no young children. She gets along well with cats, but can be selective with her canine companions so being an only dog is an option. Willow is eager to be part of a family again and have her own home, and she is a good watchdog who will alert you if a stranger comes to your home.. Willow lived her first few years with a retired couple and slept in their bed with them. Sadly her daddy became ill and they had to rehome her. Despite her independent spirit, Willow still loves to engage in walks on her leash and other fun activities and to show her affectionate side to those she trusts. She will spend her day on your lap watching tv. She is housetrained and knows how to use a dog door to let herself outside to potty, lay in the sun or play in the water in her kiddie pool. She would make an ideal companion for those seeking a loyal and playful friend. Willow's unique blend of sweetness, friendliness, and independence, coupled with her bravery and loyalty, makes her a wonderful choice for adoption. Adoption fee is $250. Story
Chubz – 4-Month-Old Puppy Looking for a Loving Home 🐾 Chubz is a playful, loving 4-month-old puppy with a sweet personality and natural protective instincts. We were gifted him at 6 weeks old by a dear friend, but as he’s grown, we’ve realized he’ll become a large dog, and our current home can’t provide the space he needs to thrive. We’re looking for a loving, responsible family with room for him to grow and enjoy life. Our only priority is finding Chubz the forever home he deserves.

Story
I DO NOT WANT TO PUT HER IN A SHELTER AND MIGHT BE WITHOUT A HOME SOONLola was born in November of 2018 and I rescued her the following month. I taught her basic commands as well as few trick’s which she took to very quickly. With moving throughout the years she has always been super good with traveling and adapting to new environments. Lola grew up with dogs and cats throughout the years with no issues. In early 2025 Lola had an infected uterus and needed a full hysterectomy. The surgery went perfectly with no issues and so did her recovery. Lola is the sweetest, most loving girl. Unfortunately, as of recently I’ve come to a point where I can’t take care of Lola properly due to certain circumstances and she is such a good girl and deserves more than what I can provide, especially as she is getting older. I’m looking for someone who has a big heart for fur babies and can provide a calm environment and fully support her needs :)Please reach out to me If interested or have any questions!

Story
Athena is 10.5 years old. She does great with other dogs and amazing with kids and all people. She has been in homes with cats but would recommend one that can correct her. she loves to play with cats but does not understand when cats do not want to play with her. She is food and toy motivated and knows basic tricks. Does great on leash or at parks. Is potty trained but due to her age I believe, she can no longer hold it past 6-8 hrs. She prefers to be outside the crate but if you need to crate, I recommend hard sided kennels. If someone is outside that she doesn't know, she will stay where she is and bark until they are gone. She loves to sleep, travel, cuddle and eat. She has seasonal allergies that will require medicine or vet recommended treatment.
