Story
Meet Cooper, a Rottweiler mix who is the epitome of a true gentleman!  Calm and well-mannered, Cooper is still under a year old but has the maturity level of a much older dog. He politely says hello to new people with no jumping, and he greets new dogs with a calmness that immediately puts them at ease. It doesn’t get any easier than Cooper. He’s crate trained, potty trained and walks perfectly on a leash. It’s as if he’s had years of leash training, but in reality, he’s just a natural. He walks right beside you, never pulling or reacting to anything around him.  Cooper was approximately 8 months old as of June 1. A breed test done on Cooper’s sister showed that the litter is half Rottweiler and the other half is a combination of Siberian Husky, American Pit Bull Terrier and Golden Retriever. Cooper will likely be a sizable dog when full grown, possibly around 80 lbs, give or take. Cooper is incredibly good with other dogs and currently attends day care where he is always making new friends. He also adores kids, and immediately lays down for belly rubs in their presence. It doesn’t take much to wear Cooper out. In his future forever home, he would love to cuddle on the couch with you after a leisurely morning stroll. He loves to be near his people.  Cooper is an easygoing, practically perfect dog who deserves the best forever home. Please apply today if he would be a cherished addition to your family. Story
If you are looking for a young, frisky pup who loves to play, Roady would be your new best friend. He could be part boxer or boxweiler with his furrowed brow but leans in like a lab, part heeler perhaps? Whatever the mix, Roady does love the car, travels politely, and would thrive with a daily dog park visit. He has a lot of stamina, runs fast, and enjoys chasing balls. He might do really well with agility training. Roady loves his meals and is working on "sit" to wait for them. He is a bit shy on occasion and it will take time for "come" to be second nature. Roady can get distracted outside as all his senses seem to be on alert. He has especially keen hearing and long distance vision, but does not bark often. He is a gentleman in the house as he is totally housebroken! Roady is still young and learning, loving a chew toy of any kind, especially plastic, so he will need heavy monitoring in a new environment for a bit. He takes calm and firm verbal correction well and is learning "off" and "leave it" commands. Having said that, Roady crates easily and enjoys being in and out of bed during the day on his own. He has done well being confined when adults are out for a couple of hours. Roady gets along well with other medium-sized dogs and follows after his foster brother on walks and visits in the yard. He is a great follower and would love another dog or playmate at home. He does very well on leash. If you are looking for a manageable optimistic, playful dog who can content himself without fuss, Roady will make a wonderful companion for the lucky family that chooses him.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Buddy is such a wonderful boy. He has the heart of a puppy and loves to play. He’ll make an excellent family pet as he gets along fantastic with kids and other dogs.   His owner passed away and currently he is in foster care. All of his vetting was done in October 2025. He is heartworm negative, neutered, up-to-date on all vaccines.   He’s a big boy at 77 pounds. We do not know how he is with cats since he’s never been exposed to any.    His adoption fee is $350 and that includes the cost for transport.  ##2688185##

Story
Angel's Story Angel is a big, handsome boy weighing around 80lbs, but he’s truly a gentle giant when it comes to people. He’s a lovable Lab/Rottweiler mix with a heart of gold. Angel walks wonderfully on a leash, making him a pleasant companion on strolls. While he’s sweet and affectionate, he does take a little time to warm up to new people, so patience is key when getting to know him. Angel is quite reactive toward other animals, which means he does need to be the only pet in the home. He needs a special person who understands how to manage his reactivity and can help him avoid other dogs, including on walks. Once Angel feels comfortable and builds trust with you, he transforms into a complete marshmallow! He’s incredibly food motivated, which makes him easy to train with his favorite treats. He enjoys sniffing around and discovering new smells, and while he’s moderately active, he enjoys walks and some playtime. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a bit of time and understanding, Angel could be the perfect fit for you! Story
Brutus's Story Brutus There’s no pre-heating needed to get this guy to warm up to you! Brutus has a sweet disposition and is friendly and affectionate with people right from the start. He’s easygoing, too – 30 minutes after we met him, he curled up and relaxed on the floor while the humans chatted around him. Rescued after being abandoned behind a restaurant, Brutus is estimated to be two to four years old. He is a good-size boy, weighing about 60 pounds, but is gentle and aware of his size. He takes well to being handled and groomed with a brush. Brutus walks nicely on leash and seems to be good around other dogs, showing interest and keeping calm. We’ll learn and share more as we get to know him better. Better yet, please reach out to us and come meet this sweet boy for yourself!
