Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi… I’m Freya 🖤🐾 I might look like a big, strong girl (I am a Rottweiler after all!), but on the inside I’m a soft, sensitive soul still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. I’m 4 years old, and I’ll be honest—I can be a little shy when I meet new people. I might hang back at first or act a bit nervous… but if you give me a little patience and kindness, I promise I’ll show you my true self 💕 Once I trust you? Ohhh, get ready… I am ALL love. I’ll greet you with the happiest wiggles, give you big hugs, and cover you in kisses. I might even be a little goofy sometimes 🤭 I love to play, especially with bigger dog friends, and I’m super food-motivated (snacks = instant best friend 🍖). I’m still learning things like “sit” and “stay,” but I’m trying really hard! I’ll need help practicing my manners—sometimes I get excited and forget to use a toy instead of my mouth—but I’m a smart girl and eager to learn. The kind of home I dream about 🏡: * A fenced backyard where I can run and play safely * A family with kids older than 10 * No cats, please * An active family who will help me build confidence and show me love I’d do best with people who understand that I need a little time to warm up—but once I do, I’ll be your most loyal, affectionate companion. I didn’t have the easiest start in life, so I just need someone to show me that I’m finally home 💖 Will you be my person? 🐶 Adoption FEE: $300 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. **ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN FLORIDA ** Ever want a dog you can flip into “sport mode”? It’s me! Pick me!  I would love to do some doggie sports with you! In fact I thrive on them. I started out slow with fetch and learning how to walk nicely on the leash, but I'm ready to move on to bigger things. Maybe I'd enjoy dock diving or fast CAT. I have a high drive and want to please the humans I love, but I'm perfectly fine being crated. I would do best as an only dog or as a member of a crate and rotate pack. My adopter should have a fenced in yard that I can run in and have experience with sports dogs. I'm excellent when I get my energy out, but I can be destructive without exercise. About me: my name is Poe, I am a 3 year old now. I’m a neutered male with a factory tail. To apply to adopt go to lostangelsanimalrescue.org  Adoption Donation: $350.00March 9, 2026, 9:32 pm

Story
Meet Theo He is a very loveable Rottie! The Rottie looks with a SUPER sweet personality great for any experience level. 6 yrs old~ Neutered Microchipped UTD on vaccinations On HW prevention House trained, Crate trained, Good leash manners, Knows Sit, Come, Door Manners, Kennel, Leave-it Good with most dogs , best paired with a female unless you have heavy breed experience Good with all the people he has met Good with children over 10 No small animals, or Cats No livestock Doesn't need an overly active lifestyle. He's fine to just lay and chill all day with his people 2 good walks a day and some play is all this boy needs He needs to stay on a high protein/fat diet to maintain weight Just wants someone to love and give him his best life A note from foster- He is a lovely boy and has done very well! He loves to play and hang out. At bedtime he is happy to run to his crate for his nighttime cookie! He loves to sunbathe in the yard and watch the world go by. He's good with the female dog he is paired with for play. He also loves the water hose!! He goes bananas to get wet. With a simple leave it, he will not chase the water spray. Overall he is going to make someone a wonderful dog! A little patience at first does a world of wonders for him to warm up quickly. We don't know the life he lived but we are showing him the good life is there. Intake story Transfer from a rescue so that we could help him find a forever home as we have experience with this breed. He was originally found dumped at Chamberlain High School in Tampa. If you would like to Foster, also please reach out! We supply everything!

Story
Meet Archie 🖤 At just 6 months old, Archie is already proof that resilience comes in small, wiggly packages. This sweet Rottweiler mix may only be about 20 lbs right now — and we don’t expect him to be a big guy — but his personality? Absolutely larger than life. Archie is neutered, fully vaccinated, and thriving in his foster home. After a past spinal injury, he has worked incredibly hard to regain his strength. He’s walking well and continues to make amazing progress every single day. He may always have a slightly awkward gait and could develop early arthritis down the road, but none of that slows his happy, goofy, tail-wagging spirit. He doesn’t see himself as anything other than a normal, playful puppy — and we agree. He’s currently fostered with both dogs and cats and truly loves everyone. Archie is social, affectionate, and just wants to be part of the fun. Whether he’s playing with friends or soaking up attention from his people, he’s all in. Archie will need a family who understands his history and is committed to keeping him healthy and comfortable as he grows — but in return, you’ll get a loyal, joyful best friend who wakes up every day ready to live life to the fullest. If you’re looking for a pocket rottie with a huge heart and an unstoppable spirit, Archie is your guy. 🐾 Apply to adopt at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUVR/dog All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Any questions, concerns and suggestions, please feel free to contact us at ALDR@animalluvrs.org.
