Barkley is a sweet 5 yr old rottie mix. She has been in rescue over 3 years. She needs to find her forever home. She does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She has done absolutely fine with older children. She has not been exposed to smaller kids other than walking through the store and did fine. She has been completely vetted and is house and crate trained. She loves her belly rubs and will often wait for you to give her one before coming inside. She has no issues

She loves other dogs and plays well with her 3 foster siblings. She loves a good game of chase, and she loves to chew on antlers and toys that squeak. Coco gets excited to go on car rides and is ready to go whenever you pick up the keys. She rides very well in the car. She has had some training and is great with 'sit' and 'down' and offering her paw. She is working on reinforcing the 'stay' and 'come' commands with her foster parents. She would do best with a fenced yard and supervision (at first anyhow). Her previous family reported a tendency to run off. Her foster family has seen no such behavior. Coco is housetrained and is a bit afraid of her crate - which is being worked on. She sleeps all night on her dog bed in the master bedroom. She is a cuddler and wants to be close to her people. If you are looking for a sweet, loyal companion, then Coco is the girl for you!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
If you are looking for a young, frisky pup who loves to play, Roady would be your new best friend. He could be part boxer or boxweiler with his furrowed brow but leans in like a lab, part heeler perhaps? Whatever the mix, Roady does love the car, travels politely, and would thrive with a daily dog park visit. He has a lot of stamina, runs fast, and enjoys chasing balls. He might do really well with agility training. Roady loves his meals and is working on "sit" to wait for them. He is a bit shy on occasion and it will take time for "come" to be second nature. Roady can get distracted outside as all his senses seem to be on alert. He has especially keen hearing and long distance vision, but does not bark often. He is a gentleman in the house as he is totally housebroken! Roady is still young and learning, loving a chew toy of any kind, especially plastic, so he will need heavy monitoring in a new environment for a bit. He takes calm and firm verbal correction well and is learning "off" and "leave it" commands. Having said that, Roady crates easily and enjoys being in and out of bed during the day on his own. He has done well being confined when adults are out for a couple of hours. Roady gets along well with other medium-sized dogs and follows after his foster brother on walks and visits in the yard. He is a great follower and would love another dog or playmate at home. He does very well on leash. If you are looking for a manageable optimistic, playful dog who can content himself without fuss, Roady will make a wonderful companion for the lucky family that chooses him.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Hi! My name is Jax, and I’m a 4 year boxer/pit mix who weighs 50 lbs. I’m super sweet and absolutely love being around people. I’m very much a cuddle bug (and think I’m a lap dog). I’ve also been very happy playing with other dogs. Cats have not been my favorite though. Walks are one of my favorite things and I walk well on a leash. I also love running around in the yard and playing fetch with tennis balls. They’re cool, but my absolute favorite are stuffies that squeak. I can entertain myself with them but also will beg to play tug of war. I’m also super smart and already know sit, lie down, stay, crate, right, come, and paw. I’m energetic and active but also settle fast and am happy to cuddle or sleep in my bed. Although, I have separation anxiety and get stressed when alone, so I would do best in a home where I’m not alone for too long. Sometimes, I let out a light growl when a door opens into the house or a room. It seems like I do it out of caution, but immediately relax once I know who it is. I tend to be a little more weary of men than women in that regard. I currently sleep in my bed next to my foster mom’s bed, but should do fine in a crate in the room as well. Meet Brutus 💙 Brutus is 5-6 years old and is a deeply affectionate, people-loving boy who thrives on closeness with his humans. He loves cuddling, being petted, and will happily sleep next to you at night. Wherever you go, Brutus is likely to follow — often carrying his favorite soothing toy in his mouth for comfort. He is good with other dogs. Brutus knows basic commands and is fully housebroken, which makes settling into a new home much easier. He enjoys playtime, especially tug-of-war, and he takes his toy destruction job very seriously (squeaker toys beware!). He walks well on leash and does best wearing a harness, ideally a front-clip harness. He may pull a little and can bark when he sees people out on walks, but he recovers quickly and continues on. This behavior appears to be excitement or uncertainty rather than aggression, and with consistency, patience, and positive training, it continues to improve. Brutus is not a fan of being confined away from his people. He will voluntarily rest in his crate when it’s open and his human is nearby, but being crated while left alone is stressful for him. He would do best in a home that understands this and is willing to help him gradually build confidence with alone time. With stability, routine, and love, Brutus truly shines. He is a cuddly, loyal companion who bonds deeply and brings a lot of joy to those around him.
