And I am one of them, but I am THE CUTEST, tHE SMARTEST and the HAPPIEST of ALL of them :) Penelope is my name and it may be a little of challenge to spell it but there is no other challenge with me ;) I have been treated for my cherry eyes (no not like the topping of a sundae :) and my heart worms and now it is OUR TIME! Meet Reyna — this queen is part Rottweiler, part athlete, part professional couch companion, and 100% good girl. Reyna is beautiful, low-shedding, crate trained, potty trained, and walks on a leash like she personally watched every episode of The Dog Whisperer. She loves running, hiking, swimming, fetch, and basically any activity preferred by those mysterious people who voluntarily do cardio when absolutely no one is chasing them. She’s great with kids and medium- to large-sized dogs. However, in true Rottie fashion, Reyna firmly believes squirrels, cats, and other tiny fast-moving creatures are highly suspicious and should be investigated at full speed. Because of this, a home without cats is a must. The squirrels, however, have been warned and remain fair game. After a full day — or at least a good walk and a game of fetch — this gal is more than happy to crash on the couch with her people for cuddles and a full-on Love Island binge session. Athletic, gorgeous… and emotionally available? Honestly, Reyna is setting unrealistic standards for the rest of us. So, as you can see I am a BIG BIG GUY(130#)!!! Like the German Rotties, I have a BIG old HEAD and a propensity to protect my people....... I need just the right home, no other dogs please. I was not socialized with other dogs while growing up and am a big boy and so introducing to other dogs is a challenge for the rescuers and therefore we are looking for a single dog home. I am a very typical rottie and was kept as a protector of the property. I LOVE my people and honestly would love to be a lap dog, lol, but I also need a couple or single who is a strong leader, who really understands my breed and who will assure that I stay safe and others do as well. Now, I have a sweet and loving side, and my friends love that about me ;) But look at my face, without my toothy grin, and you know they understand that I am a serious guy :) I love my peeps and am ready for just the right place. I can only be adopted in TX and HAVE to be met and introduced and spend time with me before the rescue will approve my adoption. So only the strong need apply!! You will get an AMAZING and DEDICATED and EXTREMELY LOYAL DOG! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX only)

Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters! I am GhostBuster and I have a neat, sad and then happy story to tell you... So hang on for the ride!! But realize my NEXT BEST CHAPTER can include you!! In the sweltering heat I was blessed enough to CHOOSE the Post Office to hang out in. I was there for months, and no one could get me...and they tried but they deliver MAIL, not SAVE DOGS for a living..:) The Post Master knew about a local rescue, and they tried to help me too...then I was hit by a car and injured... AND I found a girlfriend and she was my lucky break, literally. The Police Department was finally able to save us and away we went to the rescue! My sweet girlfriend, Avian, was adopted before me, but I believe this is MY TIME!! Here is what my rescue friends describe me.."GhostBuster is always happy to see you, his eyes shine, tail wags, and his energy boosts whenever he sees his favorite people! He has the subtle markings of a Rottweiler or a Doberman and the temperament of a lab. He had an injured hip when saved but he has had surgery and has had his heartworms treated. During all this time he has started to know what a kind hand is like, some love, and real food! Now he can learn what a real family is :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area )

We are seeking a new home for our beloved dog, Winnie, as we prepare to welcome our first child. Winnie is a six-year-old, 40-pound rescue dog with a sweet, affectionate personality. She spends most of her time curled up in her dog bed, lounging in the sun, or enjoying quiet time with her people, with occasional bursts of playfulness. She is house-trained, crate-trained, well-mannered in the home, and eager to please the people she trusts. Winnie does not chew or destroy household items and is generally a very easy companion to live with. Winnie does have fear-based reactivity toward unfamiliar people in her home and has a small bite history. The incidents did not break the skin but left minor tooth marks. We have successfully managed her reactivity through training, thoughtful introductions to new people, and use of her crate. She has done very well with these management strategies. Her ideal home would be with patient, dog-savvy adopters who can keep managing her needs.
