With my bravery, energy, and a little bit of doggy ingenuity, I managed to coax it down. But, in the process, I got lost and ended up here. I'm independent, but I also love a good game of fetch. I'm loyal, always ready to lend a paw to a friend in need. I'm playful, and I promise to bring laughter and joy to your life. Adopt me, and let's start our own superhero story together!

Are you looking for a mellow, laid back gal, who just wants to please her people and asks for nothing but love in return?? Then look no further and meet Jan!Jan is an adult female mixed breed who weighs in at around 55 pounds. Sadly, Jan spent her entire life in a shelter and found herself at risk of euthanasia when the shelter had to close their doors. Luckily for Jan, an AHF foster stepped up and was able to save Jan just in time! While Jan can be timid/shy at first, she warms up quickly and once she does, wherever you go, she won't be far behind. She is currently fostered with several other dogs of both genders and various sizes- and while she's not over the top playful, she does get along great with them and is very respectful of them. Aside from dogs, she is also cat friendly & kid friendly (she loves giving kisses to her 1 year old human foster sister). Jan is potty trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on leash. If you're looking for an old soul (with an occasional moment of spunk here and there) in a young body, Jan is your girl! She's just a perfect little lady and has so much love to offer.
