scheduled post to SM for 9/23/2023Hans arrived with 6 other dogs and 5 cats, after their owner was hospitalized, with no family willing to take all the animals, they all came to the shelter. Hans is a 6yr old, 44.5 pound Rottweiler mix. Shelter life hasn't been easy for this sweet boy, he is shy upon first meeting someone but with a calm nature, he opens up to the sweetest boy! Hans needs a place to decompress, he isn't very playful (yet!) but he does appreciate a stroll outside. Our poor boy is starting to shut down after only being here a short amount of time. The stress of the shelter is hard, and our hearts are breaking for this sweet boy. A low-traffic home where he can learn to trust again, we recommend him with teens (16yrs old+), we hope he doesn't have to stay in the shelter much longer!!
