Hello everyone! I'm a handsome and friendly 3-year-old, 54 lb Rottweiler / German Shepherd mix named Scruffles. My journey began as a stray puppy in Von Ormy, Texas, where locals fed me before a foster took me in and took great care of me. Lucky me, when I moved to Rhode Island, and I took to it like a fish to water! My new foster mom says I'm a total sweetheart, well-behaved, housebroken, and very deserving of a family of my own. I love kids of all ages. I am vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and more than ready to meet you! I am an extremely friendly boy, always wagging and smiling, amazing with people and amazing with kids. I have a great personality, a happy demeanor, and a medium-energy level, not overactive and not boring or lazy, just the perfect amount of energy for playtime, running, family activities, and social gatherings. I am always ready for any fun adventures. I am sweet and affectionate, but not the kissy type, so I won't be slobbering all over you. 3 yrs 45-50 lbs Flower is very sweet and loving. She loves to play and romp, but is also very accepting of cuddles. Good with other dogs and kids. Flower is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
