My journey began as a stray puppy in Von Ormy, Texas, where locals fed me before a foster took me in and took great care of me. Lucky me, when I moved to Rhode Island, and I took to it like a fish to water! My new foster mom says I'm a total sweetheart, well-behaved, housebroken, and very deserving of a family of my own. I love kids of all ages. I am vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and more than ready to meet you! I am an extremely friendly boy, always wagging and smiling, amazing with people and amazing with kids. I have a great personality, a happy demeanor, and a medium-energy level, not overactive and not boring or lazy, just the perfect amount of energy for playtime, running, family activities, and social gatherings. I am always ready for any fun adventures. I am sweet and affectionate, but not the kissy type, so I won't be slobbering all over you. After spending her early years being used for breeding, she is now thriving as a beloved pet and embracing everything that comes with it. Beverly is wonderful with dogs of all sizes and does great with cats, too. She has a happy, playful side—especially when it comes to her toys and chasing tennis balls, which quickly becomes one of her favorite games! At night, she settles in easily and sleeps quietly in her dog bed. Considering everything she’s been through, Beverly is doing absolutely amazing. She is extremely smart, eager to please, and picks things up quickly, making her a joy to have around.
