Story
Freddy lost his owner (my brother-in-law) after a long battle of several medical illnesses and needs a forever home. He has trust issues, but is currently living with his owners room-mate, so Freddy can definitely adapt. He needs someone who is patient, compassionate and willing to train him. Freddy was never really trained because his dad was sick so often, but seems to be willing. He walks on a leash, but because of his excitement, he pulls. He currently lives with his kitty Simba and they really trust each other, but we are not sure how he will do with other animals. If you are willing to take Simba it would be a plus, because they are bonded. If not, it's OK, Simba will live with us. Unfortunately we have 3 dogs and 2 cats already and we just don't have the tools to deal with an untrained Freddy. The room-mate will assist with transitioning Freddy with his new forever home.

Story
Lola Foster/Home Needed – Long Island, NY Lola is not a show girl, but she’s certainly pretty enough to be. This beautiful 10yr old Rotti was taken in by a guardian angel when her owner sadly passed away. Lola loves attention and adventures. She loves people but can be selective with other dogs and with cats. It’s best for Lola to be the only pet in the home. A fully fenced yard is a must. If you are interested in being the new home this pretty Rotti needs, please contact adoptions@paws-li.org or go to our FB page or call the number listed below. Story
Meet Lobo! Lobo was rescued from the euthanasia list in Manhattan late last year. unfortunately, Lobo hasn't had the best of luck with forever homes :( Lobo will need a home as an only pet due to his resource guarding and would do best with no kids younger than 13y. He is a loving boy who needs a family who understands his breed and his needs. He needs lots of exercise and loves to run around and play. He is about 2 years old now, up to date and neutered! To apply, go to lendapawinc.com/foster

Story
Meet Ruby! Ruby was surrendered to us after her owner bought her and only had her a week and then said the landlord wouldnt allow dogs. This precious girl hasn't been in this world long but it is obvious that she suffered some sort of abuse. Se was terrified when her foster first took her in. She has made so much progress and has learned to live with cats too :) She is very energetic and playful and loves attention ( who doesnt?!) She is about 4 months old, in the process of being vaccinated and will be spayed once she is 6 months old. To apply, go to lendapawinc.com/adoption

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Oso (TX) is a male Rottie mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Oso is 12 years old at the time of intake in March 2022. Oso is good with people and other dogs.  Oso was surrendered by his owner of no fault of his own, only because he was old.  Can you imagine being abandoned by the only family you've ever known?  This boy is super sweet  and deserves the very best home , where he will be showered with love and kindness .  If you can give Oso the best home with lots of love, kisses, cuddles, treats and soft beds, please apply online to adopt Oso (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.   RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.  Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 5, 2023, 10:15 pm
