Freddy lost his owner (my brother-in-law) after a long battle of several medical illnesses and needs a forever home. He has trust issues, but is currently living with his owners room-mate, so Freddy can definitely adapt. He needs someone who is patient, compassionate and willing to train him. Freddy was never really trained because his dad was sick so often, but seems to be willing. He walks on a leash, but because of his excitement, he pulls. He currently lives with his kitty Simba and they really trust each other, but we are not sure how he will do with other animals. If you are willing to take Simba it would be a plus, because they are bonded. If not, it's OK, Simba will live with us. Unfortunately we have 3 dogs and 2 cats already and we just don't have the tools to deal with an untrained Freddy. The room-mate will assist with transitioning Freddy with his new forever home.

Meet Ruby! Ruby was surrendered to us after her owner bought her and only had her a week and then said the landlord wouldnt allow dogs. This precious girl hasn't been in this world long but it is obvious that she suffered some sort of abuse. Se was terrified when her foster first took her in. Our veterinary partner estimates that Oso is 12 years old at the time of intake in March 2022.
