Story
Meet Zeke, or Z! Zeke is truly one of those dogs who leaves a lasting impression. He is a joyful, attentive boy who loves his people and happily trails after them wherever they go. Whether he is curled up at the foot of your bed, soaking up cuddles, or simply keeping you company, Zeke is happiest when he gets to be close to the people he loves. He is house trained when kept on a regular schedule and is both crate trained and trustworthy when left free in the house, as long as he has had the chance to go outside or take a walk beforehand. Zeke has also learned some impressive tricks, including sit, down, paw, and go to bed! Zeke loves to play and enjoys his yak chews, bones, and favorite toys, especially his octopus and soccer ball. He also enjoys sunbathing, splashing in the water, and spending time playing with his people. His favorite snacks include peanut butter, salmon, chicken, and cheese. Zeke is incredibly soft and affectionate with the people he knows and trusts. He loves having his ears rubbed and his chin and the back of his neck scratched. When he feels scared or needs reassurance, gentle pets, holding him, and simply talking to him can help him feel safe and calm. More than anything, Zeke is eager to be a good boy. He is full of joy, pays close attention to his people, and has so much love to give. He deserves a caring family who will appreciate his affectionate personality, his loyal heart, and all the happiness he brings wherever he goes. Zeke is ready to become someone's best friend and an important member of a loving family. Apply to adopt Zeke at petsofohiorescueteam.org

Story
Meet Coby! Coby is a handsome 2-year-old Rottweiler with a heart as big as his smile. When he first came to Brave Breed Rescue, he had a rough road ahead of him. He was battling several parasites, including a severe case of heartworm disease. Thanks to dedicated veterinary care, plenty of love, and Coby's resilient spirit, he successfully completed his heartworm treatment, was neutered, and is now healthy and ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for. Despite everything he's been through, Coby hasn't lost his joyful outlook on life. He's a goofy, playful boy who loves a good game of tug-of-war and is always ready to have some fun. His silly personality shines through once he feels comfortable, and he's sure to keep his future family smiling with his antics. Coby is looking for a home where he can continue to thrive, enjoy plenty of playtime, and soak up all the love he deserves. After overcoming so much, this sweet boy is more than ready for his happy ending. Could Coby be the missing piece of your family? Apply to meet him today!

Story
Hi there, this is Buggs! He loves to cuddle and press his mouth up to the cage and show his smile lol. Hes energetic but he is about 3-31/2 yrs old so not as energetic as when he was younger. He will stay by you without a leash and listen to his name. He can be a bit protective of his food with other dogs. He’s fine with humans messing with his food. I would recommend feeding him separate from other dogs as he gets along great with dogs in general! He’s been kennel kept partially-partially indoor kept. He would make a great alarm dog if you have property. He’s normally quiet unless you try playing with him but when he was in our double kennel he would let us know before we even knew that someone pulled in our driveway or if a neighbors dog wandered. He’s great for indoor kept as well, housebroken. He came to us because someone couldn’t care for him and now we aren’t able to give him time and attention, working a lot. he is a sweet boy and very very goofy!

Story
Meet Runts! Once upon a time, in a world filled with wagging tails and squeaky toys, there was a little Rottweiler puppy named Runts who was just waiting for his happily-ever-after. At only 2.5 months old and about 12 pounds, this little guy may be small now, but he has a heart big enough for a whole kingdom! Runts absolutely adores people and other dogs and believes every new friend is simply a friend he hasn’t met yet. Give him a toy and he’s ready for an adventure—whether that means a rousing game of playtime or some silly puppy antics that are sure to make you smile. When the day’s adventures are over, Runts is already showing what a good little prince he can be. He does wonderfully in his puppy pen with potty pads and is even sleeping through the night! Like any young puppy, he’s still learning the ways of the world and will need continued patience and consistency as he works on potty training and leash skills. Sweet, playful, affectionate, and full of puppy magic, Runts is ready to find the family who will help him grow into his very own happily-ever-after. Could you be the one to write the next chapter of his story? Runts is currently being fostered in Cincinnati, OH, and his adoption fee is $400. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
