Meet Butch, a brave Rottweiler mix who is in search of a new loving home.  Sadly, Butch lost his dad and his home, which has left him feeling a bit shy and skittish.  At approximately two years old, Butch is still young and has plenty of love to give.  Although he may be a little reserved at first, with patience and understanding, Butch will surely come out of his shell and show his true affectionate nature.  Butch is looking for a compassionate family who can provide him with a safe and secure envitonment, helping him regain his confidence and trust.  With time and love, Butch will surely become a loyal and devoted compansion.  If you are ready to open your heart and home to this courageous soul, Butch is eagerly waiting to embark on a new journey with you.  We are looking for someone that has breed experience. Butch's $250 adoption fee includes all vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. Adoption app: https://www.halok9behavior.com/adopting-one-of-our-pets ##2042844##

Story
Meet Toby! He is a 6.5 year old, 72 pound Rottweiler/Hound mix. This big ol' teddy bear is ready to become the center of your life! Toby is all around a great dog. He is potty trained, leash trained, loves to play with other dogs, friendly with small kids up to grown adults. He is fostered with a 5lb dog up to 40 lbs and has done wonderfully. Need to leave Toby for a few hours? He does fine outside of a crate when not at home. Plus, he knows commands! Toby knows how to sit and give paw, and is learning even more with time. He has the most amazing bellow of a hound and will tell you when someone is at the door. His favorite things are going for car rides and walks. What is stopping you from adopting the best boy! Toby is currently being fostered in Cincinnati, OH. His adoption fee is $275. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Introducing Reyna, the regal and affectionate Rottweiler mix who lives up to her name as the Queen of the Good Girls. Reyna is ready to reign supreme in her forever home, surrounded by love and care. Reyna's journey began when she was found on the highway, abandoned and in desperate need of help. Despite her challenging start in life, Reyna's resilience and loving nature shone through. She captured the hearts of those who discovered her, and her transformation began. This beautiful girl is a Rottweiler mix, displaying the distinctive markings and strong physique of her breed. While her exact mix may be a mystery, her gentle and loving demeanor sets her apart as a special companion. Reyna is best suited to a home with older kids who can understand and respect her needs. Although she is a sweetheart, her size and strength may be better suited to older children who can handle her with care. She is not compatible with cats, so a feline-free household is necessary. When it comes to her fellow canines, Reyna prefers larger dogs. A meet-and-greet is recommended to ensure compatibility and a harmonious living environment, however she can go to a family out of town who either has no others or an easy going dog. Reyna thrives on positive interactions and socialization, making her a wonderful companion for those with existing canine family members. This majestic girl is crate-trained and does not experience separation anxiety. She is comfortable spending time in her crate and will appreciate having a safe and cozy space to call her own. Reyna has already learned the simple trick of sitting for treats, showcasing her intelligence and willingness to please. Reyna has a list of favorite things that bring her joy. She relishes car rides, delighting in the wind blowing through her fur as she accompanies her family on their adventures. Rolling in the grass and exploring the neighborhood during walks are among her cherished pastimes. Reyna loves running and exercising her energetic nature, so an active lifestyle is essential for her well-being. When it's time to unwind, Reyna appreciates soft blankets and toys that provide comfort and entertainment. She adores spending time with her beloved humans, soaking up their affection and companionship. Reyna is a loyal and devoted companion, always ready to be by your side. While Reyna has her preferences, there are a couple of dislikes to note. She is not fond of cats, and water is not her favorite element. Understanding and respecting these preferences will help ensure a harmonious home environment for Reyna. Reyna's story is one of resilience and triumph over adversity. From her initial discovery, where she was found dumped on the highway, to her miraculous transformation into a loving and gentle soul, she has shown incredible strength and a capacity for love. If you're searching for a royal canine companion, Reyna is waiting to be crowned the queen of your heart and home. With her regal presence, gentle nature, and unwavering loyalty, she will bring immeasurable joy to your life. Welcome Reyna into your family, and let her reign over a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventures by your side. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Just like the classic debate- Left Twix versus Right Twix... both sides together ARE THE BEST!!! I am the same way, I am sweet on one side and salty on the other- together we are perfect! I have a tale to tell, however, none of it matters anymore because I am here right now to tell you- the best is yet to come! I am a big love bug, and although I can be nervous at first- I settle in quickly to be just a big couch potato! I am good with other dogs and would love to have a friend for life in my forever home. I am good with calm older dogs, not much for puppy energy all.the.time... :) I love kids, and would be great with school aged/teenagers (and not many others LIKE teenagers so I can be their buddy :) and would be good in a calmer/quieter home. I want so much to please my family and will look to you for love and attention. I also need a strong leadership family- I have tried to take over control in my first adoptive home and it was not appreciated. SO, you need to be my boss, it's not hard- just let me know you are someone I can trust to keep me safe and take EXCELLENT care of me- with love and more love and I will LET you be in control. Simple as that :) I am a big boy, about 75#, with GORGEOUS colors and markings. I will melt your heart when you look into my amber eyes and into my sweet soul. So don't hesitate, ADOPT ME!! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Prince.  This handsome boy was shot and left for dead in a dumpster.  Somehow this brave boy managed to crawl out.  When he was found he had curled up on a couch, gave up, waiting for death.  A volunteer was contacted and we rushed him to the vet. He was shot in the eye, the bullet grazed his brain and lodged in his chest.  He came in with a severe infection in both the eye.  After a week in the ICU, a plasma transfusion and eye removal he is ready for a new home.   Prince is great on a leash, absolutely loves people and is very friendly.  Playing in the water is a favorite hobby of his. However he is cat reactive and needs to be in a cat-free home.  He constantly wants to be with his people.  He will need a privacy or 6 foot fence where he can run safely. Prince was born around 11/2021 and he weighs 50 pounds.  HIs adoption fee is $300.  You can apply for Prince at www.adoggie4you.org.   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225   . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 7, 2024, 4:01 pm

Story
Hi! My name is Buddy Guy. I was 8 months old when I came 'round these parts from Georgia. I was lost and forgotten and not given much learnin' that was until MVPC found me. I was desperate for help and they gave all that to me and something I never had before, the feeling of safety. I am forever grateful for their help. I must move on they told me and find a forever family to help build me into the best dog that I can be. I know right off, that I am a large boy. I am tall. Currently holding around 80lbs. I am under 2 years old. I LOVE TO PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, AND DID I SAY PLAY? My off button works, but you have to stay on top of me! My foster momma said that I didn't get the rearing that I needed those first 8 months at all! I don't understand all that, but I do know my foster momma has worked with me a whole lot. I've gotten better. I need a patient family who is willing to continue to work with me. I would like some older kids and a younger dog that can keep up with me and not get mad at me and hurt me. I don't know anything about all that fighting. If you have a meany don't look at me! I want to play! Move on, sweetheart! Much love to you. If you want more info on me let MVPC know and my foster momma will be happy to provide it to you. ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 1/9/23 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes! DOGS IN HOME: Yes, but can be solo CATS: Yes CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $350 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25. DO NOT: USE THE PETFINDER CONTACT/INQUIRY/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those and you will not receive a response.
