We got Millie from petland when she was a puppy. She had a rough ride at first, by having kennel cough and ammonia from petland. She is 4 years old almost 5 in July. She’s very good with kids, she lets our son climb all over him. She grew up with dogs so she should be fine with others. She’s never been around a cat before so that’s hard to tell how she would do. She is somewhat aggressive. She’s never bit any one or tried too but she’s very protective and also a scaredy-cat as well. When meeting new people she gets scared and will bark and growl but once you let her sniff you and let her get use to you she will absolutely love you and want your full attention. She is a really good dog but we have a toddler and another baby on the way and she just doesn’t get any attention or gets played with. She would have a better life with another family who will play with her and give her attention.

Meet Winny, the new love of your life. She loves cuddles and being held. Kids and other dogs bring her much joy! Winny also LOVES walks and car rides, but will definitely lead the way if you let her, so she will need someone who can help show her what's acceptable and what's not. She loves company, so a dog friend would be very beneficial to her in her new home. When Winny is by herself, it takes her a few minutes to calm in her crate. It's not the crate she dislikes. It's not being where you are. This silly girl even sleeps in her crate with the command "nap", and will even let you get your beauty rest at night. Speaking of commands, this smart little girl knows "sit", "come", "leave it", and "place". She loves to play and squeaky toys are her favorite! Winny is potty trained like a big girl. However, open the door and she will run out quickly, so be sure you don't open just any door without caution, or Winny will show her way out! Winny is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Included in Winnys adoption are 3 free training sessions via Dayton Dog Den to help transition her into her new home! Her adoption fee is regularly $285, but to celebrate our 14th anniversary, Winny's adoption fee is half off during the month of April. We believe she is a year and a half and a Boxer Whippet mix.
