So, as you can see I am a BIG BIG GUY(130#)!!! Like the German Rotties, I have a BIG old HEAD and a propensity to protect my people....... I need just the right home, no other dogs please. I was not socialized with other dogs while growing up and am a big boy and so introducing to other dogs is a challenge for the rescuers and therefore we are looking for a single dog home. I am a very typical rottie and was kept as a protector of the property. I LOVE my people and honestly would love to be a lap dog, lol, but I also need a couple or single who is a strong leader, who really understands my breed and who will assure that I stay safe and others do as well. Now, I have a sweet and loving side, and my friends love that about me ;) But look at my face, without my toothy grin, and you know they understand that I am a serious guy :) I love my peeps and am ready for just the right place. I can only be adopted in TX and HAVE to be met and introduced and spend time with me before the rescue will approve my adoption. So only the strong need apply!! I am rehoming Sadie for a friend of mine who just wasn’t able to keep up with her needs. She has been kept up in a bedroom for majority of her life and was severely malnourished when I discovered her. She longs for company and to be able to freely run outside, so a fenced in backyard is preferred. She is the sweetest dog ever and will try her hardest to not let you down. She just wants affection. She has the best “SIT” I’ve ever seen and I wish I could take her myself but I already have 2 dogs and am relocating soon. Because Sadie was underfed for so long, her stomach is sensitive and has to go quite often. But she will always let you know she has to go, and is very sad and ashamed when she can’t hold it. Which isn’t her fault, but she has been treated as so. I’m not sure if her exact age and breed, but am sure she is a loving and sweet girl with a hysterical personality that deserves lots of space and attention
