Story

Meet Winny — your future shadow, snuggle supervisor, and part-time silly girl. 💁‍♀️🐾Winny is a 35-pound bundle of love who firmly believes personal space is a myth. Her hobbies include making sure you never feel alone and making best friends out of kids, dogs, and probably your mail carrier if given the chance. If you’ve ever thought, “I wish I had a tiny, affectionate sidekick who follows me everywhere,” congratulations—Winny has already filled out that role. This smart little overachiever comes pre-loaded with “sit,” “come,” “leave it,” and “place.” She also responds fluently to “nap,” which she takes very seriously… especially if it means you’re also going to bed. She sleeps nicely in her crate, though she would like to formally file a complaint about being away from you while awake. (She recovers quickly, but she will be a little dramatic about it at first.)Winny LOVES walks, car rides, squeaky toys, and having a dog buddy to share her excitement with. Honestly, if joy were a sport, she’d be competing professionally. She’s potty trained like a pro. Want more good news? Winny comes fully equipped for success. She’s spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and her adoption includes THREE training sessions (yes, three!) plus THREE days of doggy daycare at the Dayton Dog Den—because even social butterflies need a social calendar. At about a year and a half old, this Greyhound/Boxer mix has the perfect blend of playful energy and cuddle expertise. She’s ready to bring laughter, love, and just a tiny bit of chaos into your life.If your home is missing a loyal, goofy, affectionate best friend who will allert you to stangers on your property… Winny is your girl.Apply to adopt at: www.pawpatroldayton.com/adoptAdoption fee: $260Warning: adopting Winny may result in excessive smiling, constant companionship, and never going to the bathroom alone again. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story

Hey there!! My name is Cree! I'm a big, happy guy who loves to cuddle. I'm a big love bug. I'm working really hard on my house manners but I haven't mastered them all yet. I know sit, stay, no and off. I'm still a puppy so I'm learning and will make mistakes. But I'm a good listener so I'm sure I will have them down soon. I'm a bit of a rule follower and a people pleaser too. I am crate trained and house-broken. I'm pretty comfortable in my crate and don't complain when I need to be in there. I like to play outside and I love toys - balls are life! Overall, I'm a pretty chill dude, my foster mom says when I'm all grown up I'll be the perfect dog! Story

Hello Everyone - my name is Ruby Riot, though I have no earthly idea where the latter part of the name came from, because I am a very sweet, very proper lady. Aside from being downright gorgeous, I am also a happy, well-behaved companion and world-class snuggler. I love to play with other dogs of all shapes and sizes and am always ready for an adventure. I do well in the car, and love to be out in public meeting people and getting all the pets. I have really good leash manners and am always up for a walk, though I sometimes get distracted by other dogs and the occasional squirrel or other furry little distraction. I’m crate trained and house-broken. Though between you and me, I prefer not to be in the crate, because you aren’t in there with me. You should get a bigger crate. I’m still working with my foster human on basic commands. I know “sit” and “shake,” though for the life of me, I don’t understand the point of “stay.” If I stay, then how can I be right beside you when you walk away? That just seems dumb, but you two-legged critters are funny that way. I have a lump on my chest but the vet checked me out and I've been cleared - it's just a cyst, so I'm on the hunt for my furever home! If you think I’d make a good addition to your family (hint…I would), then head over to www.miamivalleypitcrew.com and apply to adopt me! ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 06/06/2021 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Yes, a male dog in the home is required for socialization CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME!! Story

Hey there!! My name is Bob, and I'm hoping you might be the person I've been waiting for. I'm one of those dogs who just has so much love to give. I'm incredibly sweet, I love attention, and if you're willing to give me some pets, I'll happily stay right by your side and soak up every bit of love. I'm a calm, laid-back guy who doesn't need much to be happy - just a person to love and a cozy place to call home. I've already got some pretty important things figured out! I'm house broken and crate trained, and my foster family says I'm incredibly calm in my crate. I'm happy to settle in and relax when it's time. I'm still working on some of my other manners, like sit and stay, but I'm learning every day. I'm a good boy who wants to please, and I know with a little patience and consistency, I'll get there. I'm just looking for someone who will give me a chance and let me show them what a sweet, loyal, loving boy I can be. Maybe that someone is you? ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained). If you choose to adopt me and my friend together the adoption fee is $500 for us both.
