Story
Meet Winny, the new love of your life. Winny will love you right back with cuddles and being held. She loves kids and other dogs. Winny is a very excited greeter though, so a home with smaller children would need extra attention so she does not accidentally knock over a little one with her excitement. Winny also LOVES walks and car rides, but will definitely lead the way on a walk so she will need someone who can hold down the fort. So much love going around with Winny. When Winny is by herself at home it takes her a few minutes to calm in her crate, but she even sleeps in her crate, with the command "nap", at night to let you get your beauty rest. Speaking of commands, this smart little girl knows "sit" and "come". Squeaky toys are her favorite and Winny is potty trained like a big girl. Winny still neeeds a slow feeder for meals since she eats with gusto. Winny is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. If Winny seems like the right fit for you, go to www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt to apply! Her adoption fee is $285. We believe she may be a year old old Boxer Whippet mix and she's around 35-40 pounds. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Meet Pagani! She loves kids, other dogs, ALL humans, and is an expert at snuggling! Sometimes while she is sleeping beside you she will start snoring; this little snorty snore is sure to make you smile.  Pagani currently lives in a foster home with cats; they are assertive and put her in her place, she may do best with that kind of cat. She loves to go on car rides and does well out in public, because she  just loves people.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Hi! My name is Lyle and I am an adorable boxer/pit/poodle/tree walker coonhound mix and I’m about a year old.  I am a typical puppy that loves people, dogs, kids and tolerates cats.  I would love to find my forever home.  I am always happy to go in my kennel for a tasty treat and I am very active so I love walks, car rides, running in the yard, playing with my foster siblings and snuggling on the couch in the evenings.  Everyone who meets me comments on how sweet and soft I am.  I have never met a stranger and I always roll over on my back for belly rubs. I am house trained, kennel trained, walk well on a leash and love to ride in the car.  Apply to adopt me today!  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Story
Meet Bartholomew Cubbins! This charming 3-year-old boxer mix weighs in at 63 pounds of pure joy. Bartholomew is an energetic and playful pup who thrives in the company of other dogs and adores people, making him an excellent companion for families, especially those with children. His friendly demeanor and playful spirit bring happiness to everyone he meets. However, he prefers to steer clear of cats, so a feline-free home would be ideal for him. He has completed a board and train program thanks to a generous donor who wanted to help strays. He’s now got all the basics and more and will come with his training tools and education! If you're looking for a loving and playful addition to your family, Bartholomew Cubbins is ready to fill your life with joy! Story
Hi, my name is Murphey and I'm one of the Irish Crew. My sisters and brother were rescued and brought to MVPC last March. We definitely had the Luck of the Irish on our side. I'm young and full of life. People say I'm sweet and friendly, but I like to think I'm just being me. I'm curious about everything, which makes me a bit of a goofball sometimes. But hey, that's just part of my charm! I love to play, and I've got energy to spare. I'm also pretty independent, so I won't mind if you need some 'me' time. But don't let my independent streak fool you; I'm fiercely loyal and love nothing more than spending time with my favorite humans. My spirit is akin to Ed the hyena from the Lion King - full of mischief and fun. And, like an Irish mobster, I'm full of charm and charisma. Adopting me would mean endless laughter, love, and adventure. If you're looking for a dog with personality, I'm your girl. I promise to keep you entertained with my antics and to love you unconditionally. So, how about it? Will you be my forever home? ADOPTION FEE: $300 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 11/08/2023 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Yes, male only CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $300 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. IF YOU ARE GOING ON VACATION OR ARE NOT YET READY TO PROCEED PLEASE APPLY WHEN YOU ARE.*** INQUIRIES: ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. Story
Hello potential human parent - my name is Reaper. I got my Halloween themed name when I was pulled from the shelter in October. I'm really NOT scary! I am a good boy who just has a lot to learn about being a 4- legged family member. I am a skinny, little fella who is trying to get fattened up. I am doing pretty good at housebreaking and crate training. I am learning some basic commands. I am working on trying to figure out this whole leash thing, but I have to admit.... I'm not a fan just yet!! I love having other dogs around. This is going to be important for me because I've got a lot of playing and learning to do. If I sound like your kind of Halloween, make sure to apply! I can't wait to find my human!! Story
Hi there! I'm Aiyana! My foster folks say I'm a little princess, and I'm looking for my new castle complete with my royal family. I'm a tiny girl, but believe me, I'm twice the dog I was when I got to MVPC. Literally! I had been abandoned behind a vacant house, and I was severely underweight and missing a bunch of my hair. Even worse, I had a nasty injury to my rear foot and it was thought that I would need that leg amputated. My Vet said he thought I had got it caught in a trap. Luckily for me, my Vet and my foster mom worked really hard to heal my foot and get my leg back into shape. I'm using it more every day and zooming around just like my foster sibs. I have one more checkup to go, but they believe now that I can keep my leg. That's a relief! I'm a SUPER sweet girl who adores my humans. Snuggle times are the bestest, especially with a blanket in this nasty weather. I've been working hard to learn my basic commands and get this housebreaking thing down, and I'm making good progress. Those snackies I get for being a good girl sure help! 👅 I'm also learning to play with my foster sibs now that I'm healed up, and that's fun too. You know what's really amazing? These little humans called grandkids! I adore them. ❤️ If you're looking for a snuggly lover, and are willing to help me continue my studies, I would love to meet you. Just reach out to my friends here at MVPC and tell them Aiyana sent you. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
