Story
I’m Graham, a handsome senior Rottweiler who would love to have a comfortable forever home for my golden years.I was abandoned at the vet next to the Humane Society of York County, tied to a pole with a note that said my owners could no longer care for me. My birth date is estimated to be January 2014.I’m a happy, easy-going fellow who loves treats, stuffy toys, belly rubs and lounging around. I’m a very chill boy, but I do enjoy my daily walks (at my mellow pace) and I’m an excellent leash walker. If you know much about Rotties, you know we’re loving, loyal and smart. And that’s me in a nutshell!I prefer to be the only pet in my forever home, and would do best in a family without small children. My ideal home would be calm and quiet to match my personality. I’m a gentle boy, but big and strong, about 65 pounds.I would be a perfect fit for someone who wants a cuddle buddy and couch potato. Especially if they’re generous with those belly rubs!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment. Please refer to our website for adoption requirements: https://humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org/adopt/adoption-process.htmlThank you for your support.

Yeti is full of adorable puppy curiosity and enthusiasm. He’s not fat, he’s big boned! Yeti is more physical and often ends up upside down while playing with his brother. Yeti plays hard and naps hard! Super sweet and affectionate! He is crate trained and mostly house trained.

Contact the foster at, Jessamyh@gmail.com & dmgalloway01@gmail.com Meet Reggie — Gentle Soul with a Heart of GoldSweet, gentle senior Reggie deserves a soft place to land, some well-earned TLC, and the comfy life he’s been waiting for. But don’t let “senior” fool you — Reggie is as playful, silly, and full of personality as any young pup, just with the added bonus of maturity and grace. This goofy, big-hearted boy is a total cuddle bug who loves nothing more than snuggling close to his people. He’s house-trained, sleeps through the night, and is calm and easy to live with at home. Reggie rides great in the car and is an absolute joy on walks — easy on the leash, attentive and checking in with his person, and always happy to stop and enjoy the sniffs.Reggie is smart and treat-motivated, already knows “sit” and “lay down,” and loves learning more for a tasty reward. He’s not mouthy, gentle with people, and easy to be around — a wonderful companion for kids, too. He’s very dog-friendly and quickly becomes everyone’s bestie, plus he’s cat-neutral and happy to coexist peacefully with household cats. He’s done great in a multi-pet home. His one quirk: he’s not big on sharing high-value toys or bones, but he’ll happily trade for a treat.Reggie is pretty low-energy and content to relax by your side once the adventures are done. He’s non-destructive when left alone, though he can be a little anxious in a new environment at first — once he learns his people always come back, he settles in beautifully and grows more confident every day.Whether you’re looking for an easygoing adventure buddy or a devoted couch companion, Reggie would thrive in a home with people who want to include him in their fun and give him the loyal love he’s so ready to return. Could you be Reggie’s soft place to land?Fosters: Jessamyh@gmail.com and dmgalloway01@gmail.com

Story
Contact my foster at, gburrell2026@gmail.comNot to be cheesy, but Velveta is a complete sweetheart! She’ll melt your heart with her eyes and will win you over with her always wagging tail. She may be considered a “senior” dog at the age of 7 years, but she is spunky and the perfect companion. She loves every person she’s ever met, including the mailman. She is calm and gentle around people, and very patient with handling. She has enjoyed attention from children ages 6 years and up and from an 88 year old senior, and everyone in between. She hasn’t had a chance to meet younger children yet, but she was not bothered at all when around a cane and walker. Velveta is crate-trained and settles in easily for a full night’s sleep. She knows “sit” and listens to corrections. She is well-mannered in the house, and enjoys spending time both inside and outside. When she has met neighbors on walks, her tail has wagged non-stop. She isn’t as happy to see other dogs on leashes and uses her voice to let them know. She would do best in a house where she is the only dog, or where the other dog is neutral and won’t react to her.If you’re looking for a sweet, mature girl to share your home and affection with, Velveta is for you!Crate trainedPotty trainedExtremely loving Medium energyGreat house mannersListens well to basic directions and correctionsWould do best in a home as the only dog or with a neutral dogNotes from a daycation:She was GREAT on the leash; almost never pulled and walked at heel the whole time. She was calm and chill and not mouthy. She was very affectionate with all three of us and loved belly and booty scratches. She was excellent in the car and sat or laid down the entire ride. She barked at two other dogs we encountered. We did not engage with the other dogs but she did not seem aggressive. We are determined to spread word about Sweet Velveta and help find her a FUR-ever home!

Meet Zeus!🐾 Age: 6 years🐾 Breed: Rottweiler🐾 House-trained: Yes🐾 Good with kids: Yes🐾 Good with other dogs: YesZeus is a loving, loyal, and well-mannered Rottweiler looking for a new forever family. This sweet 6-year-old is fully house-trained and has lived happily with children and other dogs. He is very well trained with every day commands (Sit, Heel, Leave it, etc). He even knows how to search! Whether it’s relaxing with the family, going for walks, or simply being by your side, Zeus is happiest spending time with the people he loves. This is a heartbreaking rehoming decision due to a family member’s allergies—not because of any behavioral issues. He has never bitten or been aggressive with anybody. He really is fun loving. Our goal is to find a home where Zeus will be loved as much as his is now. About Zeus:❤️ Affectionate and loyal🏡 House-trained👧 Great with children🐕 Gets along well with other dogs🚗 Rides well in the car🎾 Enjoys walks and playtime (LOVES to play fetch)

Story
Kobe is a loyal, loving, and protective Rottweiler with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I acquired him when he was young, and he has been a cherished part of my family ever since. Due to landlord/housing restrictions, I’m unfortunately no longer able to keep him, and this decision has been incredibly difficult. He is 6 years old and thrives on scompanionship, structure, and affection. Kobe is intelligent, alert, playful, and deeply bonded to his people. Like many Rottweilers, he can look intimidating at first, but once he trusts you, he is affectionate, goofy, and very loving. (XL Crate included) I’m looking for a stable, responsible home that understands large breeds and will give him the time, consistency, exercise, and love he deserves. Ideally, his new family will have experience with Rottweilers or other strong working breeds. This is not a decision I ever wanted to make, so finding the right home for Kobe🐾
