Story
Puppy was abandoned in August 2023, about 1month old, and in good health. Currently in very good health and has had all shots to date. Because of my personal situation I am unable to care for her any longer. This is a special puppy and deserves a good home with children and a good yard. She is good with children and cats and loves to run and play.

Story
Velvet is a sweetheart and loves ALL people. I've never seen her turn away a snuggle or good pat. She likes cats, just make sure she isn't playing too rough and staying out of the litter box. Dogs are case by case, it never used to be an problem & am unsure why there was a switch. It seemed to be with females only but still would test if you have any other dogs. She may too rambunctious for younger children but older children should be fine! Velvet has no issues going to the backyard and doing her business. However, she does get nervous going out front/getting in the car. We would love nothing more for her to find a family who can give us updates on how she's doing and fits into your lifestyle without any added anxiety. Someone or someones who are willing to put in the extra time & effort to make her goofy personality shine. There's nothing more I would love but to make sure she finds a home that she feels safe and comfortable in. She's a great dog and has so much love to give.

Story
Bella is almost 9 month old purebred German Rottweiler. She can be registered and comes with papers. She is not spayed at the time. She is full of energy and loves to play. She will sit for breakfast, dinner and treats. She is crate trained, housebroken, but occasionally does have a pee-pee accident. She is still working on leash training. She will use a doggie door. She loves to play fetch and tug a war. She plays with other dogs, but is a little rough with my smaller dog. She is high strung with lots of energy. I am a below knee amputee and she is too much for me to handle.

Story
Dexter is shy guy, but he's very sweet! He is great with people and does well with other dogs. He has never growled or snapped at anyone, but he is not really a fan of children or cats. His favorite things are running around and being pet. He also loves car rides and even tolerates baths well!. He also wants you to know he's great on the leash so daily strolls are A-OK with him! Since Dexter is a bit of an introvert, he does get a little nervous so he'll just need someone who will be patient with him until he settles into his new home. We hope you'll give this handsome boy a chance to be your new best friend!

She was rescued from a puppy mill so she is saggy as u can tell she has had multiple litters of pups. She would be better w older kids since she is shy. She is great w other dogs. She does have a deformed back foot or am old break that just healed not perfect. It doesn’t bother her at all. She is spayed all shots hw negative and microchip and ready to go adoption fee is $60

Story
Hi, my name is Barry and I am believed to be a Rottweiler mix who is approximately year and six months . I have been introduced to male and female dogs and I did great for both meets. I am in a big play around and love to play with all my friends. I am a medium to high energy pup, I have yet to meet a cat/kitten. I am ok with men and women, not sure about children (best to do a meet and greet to be sure). The shelter recommends slow introductions and following the 3/3/3 rule for all introduction regardless of my behavior in the shelter.Foster report card:During my field trip, I got to go to to the stockyard adoption event and the library event. A few words to describe her are couch potatoes, loves hugs, kisses and sitting in you lap. At the event she got along with dogs and children (no age given). Loves kids and all dogs/people. Didn't like the bulls and deer in the shops at the stockyard station. She barked at them it was funny. She is very fun and social, good on leash, did good on the car ride there and like being outside. foster from 4-26-2024: Barry was the sweetest and friendliest dog! He was eager to meet all of the TCU students and was so well behaved. He didn't bark a single time! He loved belly rubs and head pets. If we didn't just like in a dorm, we would adopt him in a heart beat!
