Puppy was abandoned in August 2023, about 1month old, and in good health. Currently in very good health and has had all shots to date. Because of my personal situation I am unable to care for her any longer. This is a special puppy and deserves a good home with children and a good yard. She is good with children and cats and loves to run and play.

Story
Needing to rehome my German rottie, my work schedule changed and I’m starting to have to work a lot more doubles at my clinic and I’ll be gone for long hours every day, it’s not fair to him to be kenneled for so long. He is a year old and a sweet good boy, he is a rottie and therefore protective, would perfer him to go to someone who has experience with his breed. he is 86lbs but his vet expects him to easily sit at 90-100 without being overweight as he still needs to fill out and won’t be done doing so till about 2years. I will require his adopters to have a fenced yard. He is good with other dogs unless you show that dog makes you uncomfortable then he gets protective, he will actually do that with anyone, if you are welcoming so is he but if he feels like your unhappy or afraid or uncomfortable with someone or something he likes to lean on you and watch whatever it is very intensely and if approached he will growl or bark. He knows a lot of comands and is a quick learner.

Story
Dexter is shy guy, but he's very sweet! He is great with people and does well with other dogs. He has never growled or snapped at anyone, but he is not really a fan of children or cats. His favorite things are running around and being pet. He also loves car rides and even tolerates baths well!. He also wants you to know he's great on the leash so daily strolls are A-OK with him! Since Dexter is a bit of an introvert, he does get a little nervous so he'll just need someone who will be patient with him until he settles into his new home. We hope you'll give this handsome boy a chance to be your new best friend!

Story
Amara, our lovable Rottweiler, has quite the journey from her days of hardship at the shelter to becoming a cherished member of our family. Originally rescued from a tumultuous environment where she faced aggression from other dogs, she showed signs of potential hip issues, which thankfully improved once removed from that setting. Amara's temperament is remarkably gentle and easygoing. She's like a giant puppy, always ready for playtime with her goofy antics and endearing personality. Despite her size, she's surprisingly passive, but she takes her role as protector of her home seriously, remaining alert and cautious. Amara has adapted well to domestic life, showing little interest in destructive behaviors like digging and maintaining excellent house manners with no accidents. While she's mastered the basics like "sit" and "off", she could benefit from more training, though her intelligence suggests she'll pick up new commands quickly. At just three years old, she's a great addition.

Story
Meet Pippy! Hi everyone! Are you looking for a partner in crime, best friend, and companion? Look no further! My name is Pippy. I am a 10 month old Rottweiler/Lab mix with an underbite that gives me extra character. I am looking for my forever home. Is that with you? I love to play! I spend most of my days playing with my toys or my foster brothers. I love to snuggle and show affection. I'm a quick learner. I already know where my potty spot is and which food bowl is mine. I enjoy sniffing out all the new things on our evening walks. I am in the process of learning hand commands and do well unattended roaming the house (tested for short periods of time 1-2 hours). I am crate trained, play well with dogs and people (not cat tested), potty trained, great on car rides, and walk wellTo set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet Gus!   Looking for a very handsome Rottie with a terrific personality and the looks to match? Then you must meet our guy Gus.  He is truly a gentle dog in a big body.   He absolutely loves people and has shown no aggression to other dogs at the shelter.  He is definitely a smart dog and loves playing in the play yard with the volunteers.  Gus appears to know his basic commands and we think he is around 2 years old.  Gus is just a big teddy bear who would thrive in a home, and we hope he gets one soon.  Gus does have the beginning of heartworms, but no damage yet to his heart and lungs.   Trinity GAP will pay for his heartworm treatment as soon as he gets a home or foster.   He weighs 67 pounds and is waiting for someone to come rescue him.  If you would like to meet Gus, email Jesica King at 214-709-3332 or hamiltonjesica@hotmail.comApril 24, 2024, 8:45 pm
