Hi! My name is Bumble Bee! I am a little over 10 months old and currently 82lbs. I may grow a little bit more to be around 85lbs. I am a neutered male who is microchipped, heartworm tested, and started on my preventatives. My adoption fee is $85, which comes with a personalized tag and collar. Feel free to visit me at the animal shelter Monday through Friday 11am to 5pm and Saturdays 10am to 2pm.I know, I know — the name doesn`t quite match the look. I`m built like a linebacker, not a garden visitor, but the name stuck and honestly, it fits better than you`d think. I`m all buzz and zero sting. I bumble around like the big goofy pup I still am, I`m sweet as honey once you get to know me, and I`ll happily follow you from room to room like you`re the only flower in the field.I haven`t met any kids yet, but I`d love the chance to be part of a family and learn together. Other dogs? With the right introduction, I bet I could get along with most of them just fine. Cats are still a mystery to me — never met one — but I`m willing to give it a proper try if the introduction is done right.Right now I`m still figuring out how big I actually am, so a little patience while I grow into these paws goes a long way. Dexter is shy guy, but he's very sweet! He is great with people and does well with other dogs. He has never growled or snapped at anyone, but he is not really a fan of children or cats. His favorite things are running around and being pet. He also loves car rides and even tolerates baths well!. He also wants you to know he's great on the leash so daily strolls are A-OK with him! Since Dexter is a bit of an introvert, he does get a little nervous so he'll just need someone who will be patient with him until he settles into his new home. We hope you'll give this handsome boy a chance to be your new best friend!
