Story
The Luck of the Irish Litter turned 8 weeks old today! When they first joined the rescue, their flight response was still active. Now, instead of hiding or running, they happily greet their foster family with kisses and wagging tails. The puppies enjoy playing with one another, tugging on toys, and getting belly rubs from their foster family! Ronan is one of the smallest in the litter and is missing part of his rear back leg. We are not sure what happened to him before we rescued him, but he has been on antibiotics and the infection is gone! He gets around great though, but cannot jump. We received the results from one of their siblings, Maeve, and per Wisdom Panel they are a mix of 12 different breeds. The top 5 breeds are 44% Rottweiler, 29% Great Pyrenees, 6% Collie, 6% Labador Retriever and 3% American Staffordshire Terrier. Their estimated adult size is between 66-106 lbs. Due to their breed make-up, no apartments please!

*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):
Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee
Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee
Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
