Story
Ellie is a 4.5 month mixed breed puppy. We are guessing she is part Rottweiler due to her beautiful black and tan markings (emphasis on guessing). We think she will only weigh about 50 lbs when full grown. She has a sweet, funny temperament and is pretty laid back for a puppy. Ellie likes to do what most puppies do - play, explore, learn new stuff, eat, cuddle, nap, repeat. She loves to play and snuggle with people or other dogs, either or both will do! She gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home, but she could be an only dog if her people give her enough attention and exercise (both mental and physical). Ellie is a smart pup and will enjoy and thrive on learning new things. Please submit your application to adopt Ellie at www.humanetomorrow.org, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
The Luck of the Irish Litter turned 8 weeks old today! When they first joined the rescue, their flight response was still active. Now, instead of hiding or running, they happily greet their foster family with kisses and wagging tails. The puppies enjoy playing with one another, tugging on toys, and getting belly rubs from their foster family! We received the results from one of their siblings, Maeve, and per Wisdom Panel they are a mix of 12 different breeds. The top 5 breeds are 44% Rottweiler, 29% Great Pyrenees, 6% Collie, 6% Labador Retriever and 3% American Staffordshire Terrier. Their estimated adult size is between 66-106 lbs. Due to their breed make-up, no apartments please! If you would like to adopt a dog from Rescue Row please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1726530##

Story
Aspen has been a shy and anxious girl since she was a puppy. She was not crate trained so being in a crate makes her anxious and angry. She can sleep anywhere else at ease. From the pictures you can tell her toy is her emotional support. She needs a toy she can chew on whenever she needs it. She is very loving and has always been loyal and obedient to me. She will put her paw on you if you stop petting her She can come, stay, wait, sit and lay down on command. I have spent a lot of time training her to be comfortable around people and other dogs. At the end of May 2023, one night my girlfriend hugged Aspen while sitting down and put both arms around her neck and chest. Aspen growled (as warning) and my gf hugged her again, to which then Aspen bit my girlfriend in the face. Because of this incident I cannot keep her, she has never been aggressive besides this incident and she deserves to be adopted by someone who is patient and will love her just as much as she will love her new owner.
