Meet Pearl! A sweet and spirited six-month-old Shar Pei/Siberian Husky mix currently in Los Alamitos, CA, whose essence shines through her soft cream and tan coat and her endlessly wagging tail. Pearl is a bundle of playful energy and snuggly affection, already showing the heart and smarts of a lifelong companion in the making! Pearl’s favorite things in the world? People, pups, and playtime! She’s incredibly social and absolutely adores human attention. Whether it’s a walk around the block, backyard ball toss, or some quiet cuddle time after a long day. And speaking of fetch, Pearl is a pro! She’ll happily chase after a squeaky toy or tennis ball and bring it right back, every single time, with a look of pure joy on her face. Pearl thrives in the company of other dogs and would blossom in a home with a friendly canine sibling to romp and relax with. She's wonderfully quiet for such a young pup (no barking, no whining) just gentle tail wags and soulful eyes. Though she’s still learning the ropes, Pearl picks up new routines quickly. She’s potty trained, using pee pads inside when the door is closed, and heads outside on her own when given access. At night, she might sneak into bed when the air gets chilly (carefully, gently, without waking anyone) just to curl up beside someone warm. It’s a little ritual that speaks volumes about her loving nature. Pearl would do best in a peaceful, cat-free home, as past experiences with less-than-friendly felines have left her longing for more harmony. Found as a tiny adventurer, she’s full of curiosity and loves discovering the world around her. Dinky is playful but gentle, with a natural ability to make friends wherever she goes—both humans and other dogs adore her. She’s smart and eager to learn, already showing a love for games, exploring scents, and figuring out new challenges. With her affectionate personality and boundless puppy energy, Dinky is ready to find a home that will nurture her spirit and join her on all of life’s little adventures. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. As charming as they come, Daisy is an 8-year-old English Bulldog with a heart full of love and a friendly spirit. She is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats and is great with everyone she meets. Her affectionate nature shines through in her love for snuggling and being close to her human friends. Daisy is currently recovering from TPLO surgery on her right knee. Despite her past cruciate tears and hip dysplasia, her prognosis after recovery is very promising, and she’s showing her resilient spirit every day. She is one of our volunteers' favorite dogs. Due to poultry allergies, Daisy is on a beef-only diet, but aside from that, she has no other medical concerns. She’s an intelligent and quick learner, making her a joy to train and interact with. Daisy’s loving and gentle demeanor makes her a perfect companion for anyone looking to share their home with a sweet and resilient dog. If you’re ready to offer a warm, caring environment, Daisy will fill your life with affection and loyalty.
