We adopted Suki from a rescue organization in 2021. She’s a great dog— patient, low energy, very loving with people and completely crate trained, house trained and leash trained. She loves to hang out with her people, loves chin pets and could spend all day sunning herself on our back porch. Unfortunately, life circumstances have changed for us, and we are no longer able to care for her the way she should be cared for. I am communitng over an hour for work, which means I am often gone for 10+ hours in a day. She has glaucoma (likely genetic), and is blind in one eye. We give her eyedrops daily, and she is trained to receive them, so she sits very still like a good girl! She can be reactive with other dogs, so would do best in a home without other pets.

Sophie is a sweet tripawd girl who was hit by a car. She sustained a severe nerve injury, which required us to have her front leg amputated. This doesn't stop her however--she's a speed racer! Sophie LOVES humans, including kids. She would thrive in a home where she is the only dog, although when she is out and about she does really well with other dogs. We have puppies! Meet Freckles, currently at 8 weeks old DOB Nov 2025 and growing by the minute! Freckles is 1 of 3 puppies that are survivors from the shelter. Their overbred mama was dumped while pregnant at the shelter and unfortunately did not make it through their birth. Our original plan was to save and pull Mama into our rescue, so in her honor we took her 3 puppies. DNA test results show Freckles is a Bulldog/Staffy/Pit Bull mix, but 100% CUTE!Applications are now open for Freckles! Experienced adopters preferred but not limited to, as puppies are a lifetime commitment. Adoption contract will ensure Freckles is neutered when he is of age at our trusted vets, this medical expense is included in the adoption donation.
