I've been on quite an adventure so far, and now I'm looking for a forever home where I can share all my puppy love. I'm your typical Shar Pei puppy—lazy yet playful. I enjoy running around and having fun with my foster siblings, but I also know the importance of taking relaxing naps in the warm sun. At home you can find me in my crate napping, or taking up most of the couch. I love sitting with my humans in the evening. I get really excited around humans I know, and often jump up for a hug at the door. My humans keep me away from people under 10 for this reason. Hikes are like walks but better. I get very excited and will pull you all the way up a mountain. I’m okay off leash and typically come back when called. I could still use some training but I get distracted sniffing everything in the woods. I love strangers. I seem to get a lot of compliments when I’m out and about. I love meeting other dogs and playing with them. Inside I only bark if I really need something. It is usually because I need to go outside, or my water bowl is empty. I am a bit messy. Especially when I eat and drink. My slobber will get on furniture, carpets, clothes, and everything else you own. My humans don’t seem to mind, but others might. I come with my crate and bed, as well as a month supply of food.

Hadleigh was rescued from Two Blondes Rescue. She was rescued by them from the streets and covered with mange. She made a full recovery with exception to some bald spots on her tail. She has had a rough life on the streets and has broken canine teeth, and probably had puppies at one time. We are unsure of her exact age. We think she is about 9 or 10. She does not do well with yelling or loud noises, such as thunder or surround sound. Above all she is a sweetheart with big telling eyes. She loves to get the zoomies, play at dog parks and loves treats!!! She does well with cats and children too, but it will take time to earn her trust and love. Our hearts are broken knowing we have to rehome her, but hope to find her a loving dog family.
