Razor is a sweet, quiet boy with a soft, sensitive nature. He can be a little shy at first, but with patience and kindness, he warms up and shows his loving side. Razor appreciates a calm environment and would do best in a home with older kids who understand how to give him space and let him build confidence at his own pace. He enjoys peaceful companionship, gentle affection, and simply being near his people. With the right home, Razor will be a loyal, tender-hearted friend! What I Need In a Home:* Older children recommended

Story
Summer is a delightful medium-sized mix who is eagerly searching for her forever home! This gentle girl has a calm and loving disposition that makes her the perfect companion for a serene household. She can be a bit shy at first, so any kids in the home should be old enough to go slow with her in the beginning. Once she warms up, which doesn`t take long, she is a total sweethear! She is incredibly gentle and affectionate, always ready for a cuddle or a quiet moment by your side. Her calm demeanor makes her an excellent companion for anyone seeking a peaceful and loving dog! What I Need In a Home:* Older children recommended

Story
Osito (Oso) is a one-year-old Shar-Pei mix whose name means “little bear,” and it fits him perfectly. He is 100% a little bear—soft, squishy, and an absolute mush ball at heart. Meet Osito, aka Oso, truly lives up to his name—he’s a little bear with the gentlest soul. Oso is incredibly kind and loving, and he absolutely adores other dogs. Having a canine companion is a must for him, as he feels most secure and confident when another dog is around. With a dog friend by his side, he does great being left home and settles in happily. Oso didn’t have an easy start to life. He spent his early days living chained up in a backyard, and when he was finally surrendered, he immediately needed entropion surgery to relieve the pain he’d been living with. Despite everything he’s been through, Oso is incredibly gentle, trusting, and full of love. His resilience is just as beautiful as his sweet heart. Oso is doing really well with cats, too. Occasionally he may show interest in chasing, but he responds well to a firm “no” and typically respects their space. He loves going on walks and enjoys exploring the world, though he can pull a bit at first. With a martingale collar, he does very well. He’s a sensitive boy who can be a little nervous when meeting new people, especially men, but he warms up more quickly to women and continues to build confidence with patience and kindness. Like many young dogs, he may nibble on unattended items (shoes beware!), but as long as the basics are picked up and he has a nylon bone and a dog buddy, he’s perfectly content. Oso is incredibly sweet, deeply affectionate, and a total heartbreaker. I promise—you will fall in love with him the moment you meet him. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion with a teddy-bear soul, Osito might just be your perfect match You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2596152##

Story
Rango is a doll. He is an approximately three-year-old neutered male. He was abandoned when his former owners moved, and then ended up at the shelter on the euthanasia list. We got additional info on him from the people’s former neighbors, and they said that he’s lived with kids and has been good with small dogs too. He’s great in the car, good on leash. He is very easy going and has done really well with the other dogs he’s interacted with.   Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com/available-animals please note if you utilize an Iphone there are two scroll bars on the side of the screen to scroll down through available animals.   You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2644326##

Meet Dita! This sweet, shy, 3 year old Chinese Shar Pei is looking for her new home! She is looking for a patient home that will allow her to come out of her shell. We don't know how she would do with kids, but she is neutral towards the other dogs in the shelter.   December 22, 2025, 6:00 pm

Bubba Things you’ll love: Bubba is smart and very loyal to his people. He really loves to lay down at the foot of the bed and spoon with a human which is just maybe one of the most incredible feelings in the world. He’s independent and will check in every once and awhile. He loves to be outside and he loves putting his head in your chest while you cover his head. I’m sure you will discover many other funny things about him. …but really if you wanna make him the happiest tell him it’s time to go on a walk. He will grumble and wag his whole body. Bubba is a quiet dog unless he is alerted to someone at the door. He doesn’t bark with a passerby. Bubba has been around many dogs, but in my opinion, he would be best as a lone dog or with a calm dog that will give him space. Bubba has lived with and done well with cats.  Things to work on: leash walking. he pulls because he’s just so dang excited. He doesn’t dig but he pushes his back legs back when he’s outside. It’s also funny.January 27, 2026, 3:38 pm

Story
LION – Male Boxer | 2 Years Old - DOB 11/25/2023 |    50 lbs | Healthy, Vaccinated & Neutered Introducing Lion, the sweetest big-hearted Boxer boy you’ll ever meet! At 2 years old, Lion has that perfect blend of Boxer goofiness and soulful loyalty. He’s playful, affectionate, expressive, and absolutely loves being near his humans. Lion is the type of dog who wiggles when he’s happy, leans in for cuddles, and charms everyone he meets with his warm, gentle nature. Breed Info: Boxers are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and famously silly personalities. They are deeply loyal, people-oriented, and incredibly loving companions. Boxers thrive on interaction, bonding, and being included in family life. Lion reflects the best of his breed — goofy, devoted, and full of heart. Owner Responsibilities: To help Lion thrive, he’ll need: Daily exercise (walks, play, and engagement) Structure, training, and positive reinforcement Plenty of affection and time with his family A safe, stable home where he won’t be left alone too long Give him routine, purpose, and love — and Lion will give you devotion for life. Things to Consider Before Adopting Lion: Are you ready for a medium-energy, highly social dog? Do you have the time and stability for daily exercise and bonding? Is your home and landlord dog-friendly? Are you prepared to commit to a dog for the next 10+ years? Are you ready for a dog who wants to be included as part of the family, always? Dogs are forever — not until convenient. Vet Care: Lion is healthy, vaccinated, and neutered. Please take him to your own vet shortly after adoption to set up ongoing care and ensure his continued well-being. The 3-3-3 Rule & Lifelong Commitment: First 3 days: He decompresses and starts to feel safe. First 3 weeks: Lion learns your routine, expectations, and begins trusting fully. First 3 months: He bonds deeply, understanding he is truly home at last. Adoption is forever — and Lion is ready to give his heart unconditionally. Why Lion Would Be a Great Addition: Lion is a loyal, affectionate, and joy-filled companion who will bring warmth and love into any home. His expressive Boxer charm, playful energy, and gentle nature make him the kind of dog who forms bonds that last a lifetime. He’ll make you laugh, comfort you on hard days, and love you with everything he has. He’s not just a dog — he’s family. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. She’s a goofy, happy, loving girl and with just one look into those pretty doe eyes, your heart will melt! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
