Hi, my name is Zyrie, and I know you can't stop staring at my big beautiful nose and muzzle, admit it... Yes, this gorgeous schnoz is attached to fabulous me! I like to lead on walks, ride well in a car, I do like my crate, and I love adults!!! Kids throw me off a little, especially the little ones; I'd prefer to be the center of attention. Oh, and I love other dogs, but I especially like playing with their toys, pawing at them when asleep and having them play on my schedule, so just make sure I get to be in charge!!! I am housetrained, very affectionate, about 54 pounds (I love food and will counter surf), happy to go with you to work (I got to go with my foster dad to his military site and got to meet all kinds of people protecting our country and i loved everyone!!!). Honey (she goes by Dolce, but we have another dog also with that name) came from a home with far too many dogs that overwhelmed the owner. Honey is 43 pounds, is recently spayed and is microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Honey is being treated for an ear infection, and is on some high quality food and fish oil to clean up her skin. She is a typical female, who can get a little growly around strangers poking and prodding (not a fan of the vet but manageable), but has lived with other dogs and kids with no issues. Her coat is cleaning up slowly with good food and some antibiotics. She came to us with a pretty patchy coat. Honey is the princess, preferring inside to out (she is completely housetrained, but just doesn't want to hang out in the yard otherwise). She is quiet, not a big barker and likes to give kisses and hugs. Honey is fostering in the Indio, California area. Dudley was found as a stray in Phoenix AZ. He made it out of the shelter because his foster mom made room for him at her house! She is an angel and has nothing but great things to say about this boy. Camilla is a gorgeous cream shar-pei mix and this girl landed in the shelter after being abandoned in an RV with other dogs. Cami has lived with other dogs, but we've found she would do best as an only dog or a with neutral or submissive male dogs. She is very good with people, and apparently has seen the world (or maybe US) by car/travel. Camilla is about 4 years old, is spayed and had entropion eyelid surgery and has all her vaccines and a microchip. She is about 45 pounds. Gordon found himself in a California shelter, and he was such a good boy that Pei People couldn't wait to rescue him! Gordon is about 36 pounds (very small), is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is microchipped. Shelter aged him at 6 years old, but foster thinks more like 4 years old. (so far, he's not telling us!) Gordon is even good in a crate (he sleeps there at night). He took a day or two to learn the dog door, but now is a pro and no accidents in the house. He would love a yard...really enjoys being outside. He also likes toys and balls. He is good with other dogs and is ready for a new home! Greetings and salutations, Colorado, it’s me, Gonzo! I like to fancy myself a courteous and honorable gent, and my mom always told me begging is bad manners, but the Underdogs assured me that begging for a hero to help save you is the exception to that rule. Allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Gonzo and I’m a 2-3 year-old gentle giant Boxer/American Bulldog mix buddy and I'm crossing all my paws for a hero foster or adopter. My Underdogs foster folks can only surmise that I was once somebody’s well-loved guy before I ended up in the dog clink. I have impeccable bathroom manners, walk politely on leash and lounge quietly on my dog bed. I’ll never know why my previous peoples stopped loving me and why they left me to wander the cold winter streets alone. What I do know, though, is that I’ve never stopped loving the peoples, ALL the peoples. Because man alive, do I love them! I could sweetly lean into them for pets and cuddles all day long. And if they gave me proper permission, I’d also happily cover them in my signature Gonzo smooches. It’s also my sole mission in life to make them laugh with my hilarious antics and sweet demeanor. I'm a calm dude in the home, but I also love to go for runs, walks and hikes. Basically, I'm down for all the Colorado adventuring. I do well around other good fit dog friends, but my best fit home may be one where I'm your only four-legged best bud.
