Veronica is the sweetest girl, her cute face and loving personality will melt your heart. She initially came from an abuse case and has been at the Humane Society of Boulder for about 6 months. I recently adopted her and unfortunately living in an apartment complex is not ideal for her personality type. It is densely populated and she is reactive to other dogs so a home with no dogs, and preferably no cats. is required. Veronica has had training though the humane society previously and responded well; continued training would be highly recommended both in the home and possibly with a trainer. She is very playful and her stubborn streak makes you hard pressed to win at tug of war. Hide your shoes as well as she is exceptionally good at stealing them and will give you the cutest look before she runs away with them. She is good on walks and uses a sensation harness although avoiding other dogs, bikers and runners is always the safest option.

Hey!  Hello!  It's me, Groucho!  I am a super fun-loving guy.  I enjoy ALLLLL the play.  I zoom, I wrestle.  I play with toys.  I play with big dogs.  I play with small dogs.  Sometimes I even play with things I should not play with.  But I do take correction very well and am learning everyday about the "off limits" stuff.I am doing really well with my potty training and use a potty pad all the time. I am also working on my outside potty training and it is going well.  Although, when I am playing, I have to be reminded to go outside to potty.When it is time to settle down, I do love a good snuggle on the sofa with my foster person.  I also do well playing by myself in my pen with toys.  I also sleep really well at night without making a peep of noise.I am working on my leash walking and am doing really well.  I am super curious and have to stop and sniff along the way.  I am respectful when meeting new doggos in the neighborhood.  And I love meeting the new people.If you are looking for a super fun tiny elephant to join your family, let's meet up at an adoption event soon. Greetings and salutations, Colorado, it’s me, Gonzo! I like to fancy myself a courteous and honorable gent, and my mom always told me begging is bad manners, but the Underdogs assured me that begging for a hero to help save you is the exception to that rule. Allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Gonzo and I’m a 2-3 year-old gentle giant Boxer/American Bulldog mix buddy and I'm crossing all my paws for a hero foster or adopter. My Underdogs foster folks can only surmise that I was once somebody’s well-loved guy before I ended up in the dog clink.  I have impeccable bathroom manners, walk politely on leash and lounge quietly on my dog bed.  I’ll never know why my previous peoples stopped loving me and why they left me to wander the cold winter streets alone. What I do know, though, is that I’ve never stopped loving the peoples, ALL the peoples. Because man alive, do I love them! I could sweetly lean into them for pets and cuddles all day long. And if they gave me proper permission, I’d also happily cover them in my signature Gonzo smooches. It’s also my sole mission in life to make them laugh with my hilarious antics and sweet demeanor. I'm a calm dude in the home, but I also love to go for runs, walks and hikes. Basically, I'm down for all the Colorado adventuring.  I do well around other good fit dog friends, but my best fit home may be one where I'm your only four-legged best bud. Believe me, I've got so much love to give, one Gonzo guy is all you'll ever need.
