Story
Hi there—I'm Fiona! I'm a spunky 40-pound girl with a beautiful white coat accented by cute brown markings. I’m currently hanging out with my NWBR foster family while I search for my forever home, and I’d love to share my adventures with you. I’m a total ball of energy—I can’t help but run like the wind, especially when there's a hint of food or a fun game of chase on the horizon. I love to play tug-of-war with my dog friends and zoom around until I’m tuckered out. At first, I might be a bit shy, but once I warm up, I’m all about cuddles and loyalty. I’m still mastering house training and crate training (I promise I’m trying!), but I make up for it with heaps of enthusiasm and love. I get along great with other dogs once we break the ice and I’m friendly with everyone I meet. If you’re looking for a loving, energetic companion who’s ready to learn and grow with you, then I might just be your perfect match. I can’t wait to meet you and start a new chapter filled with fun, love, and endless play! If you would like to adopt her, fill out an adoption application on our website www.nwboxerrescue.org Like us on facebook for more photos of this pretty girl, as well as other boxers we have available!  www.facebook.com/northwestboxerrescue May 9, 2025, 9:15 pm

Sydney 10 years old Female Good with other dogs Fostered in Williams, OR   She’s been waiting for someone to look past her age and see the beautiful soul she is. She’s ready to love someone with her whole heart; she just needs her person to find her. Sydney is looking for her forever people This sweet girl is 10 years young and still has so much life and love to give. Sydney is one of those dogs who just makes you smile — she’s playful, happy, and loves nothing more than chasing her ball and being with her people. She’s fantastic with other dogs and would love a buddy to hang out with. Cats, though? Not so much. She’s hoping for a cat-free home where she can just soak up all the love (and treats!) she can get. Sydney might have a few years under her belt, but don’t let that fool you — she’s still full of energy and spunk. She’s the perfect mix of silly and sweet — the kind of dog who’ll run around the yard with you one minute and then curl up for a nap right by your side the next. She’s been waiting for someone to look past her age and see the beautiful soul she is. She’s ready to love someone with her whole heart, she just needs her person to find her. Meet Alaska — the cutest pup around! She’s as white as a snowy winter day and just as magical.   Alaska is crate trained, house trained, and gets along wonderfully with her foster brother. They spend their days playing and napping together, and she’d thrive with a playful older dog in her forever home.   She’s incredibly sweet, loves being around people, and is always up for a cuddle. Alaska is great with new faces and warms up quickly. She’s working on new commands and is super treat motivated, making training a breeze.   This curious girl enjoys her walks, exploring new places, and soaking in all the smells. She’s also a fantastic co-pilot for car rides and absolutely loves her toys — and she’s happy to share them, too!   Alaska would be a perfect addition for a couple or family looking to grow their fur family. She’d love a home with a good-sized backyard where she can show off her speed and get her zoomies out.   Alaska has a lot of love to give and is patiently waiting for her forever home. Sadie 1 YO 45 Pounds Kid & Dog Friendly Crate & Leash Trained Fostered in Maple Valley, WA Hi, I'm Saide! My foster mom calls me sassy Sadie. This just means I am full of the best things in life; I am the sweetest girl, and super smart. My foster Dad says I am the best dog he has ever had; I take that as high praise. I love snuggle time after my zoomies, I am a puppy after all, so play and beauty sleep are what I do best. The kids in the house are such a joy for me, they are just my size, and I am very gentle with them. I even give them gentle kisses. I am very respectful and use my manners, I use the doggy door and do my business in one corner of the yard, in the gravel. I am submissive and quiet, but I love all the dogs at the dog park. I love to stretch my legs and run really fast, especially at the beach where I can cool my belly in the water. I have gained some needed weight which was easy because am very treat motivated. Thats how I learned to sit, wait, and shake. I am crate trained, but I don't like it, I will go in when you want me to, but I get very anxious and upsent when I'm in there. It would be nice for me to have a buddy in my new home to show me the ropes and to pal around with. This might help with my confidence in the crate too. I will need a family that could be patient with me with the crate while I learn that being in there isn't a bad thing. I don't need much, just a family to love me, a high fence, and lots of chews and toys. If you are an active family that is looking to add a girl like me, I would make a lovely companion. Olive 3 YO 50 Pounds Dog Savvy Kids Crate & Leash Trained Fostered in Seattle, WA Hi, I'm Olive! I am what you call a love sponge; I will soak up all the affection you have to give and will give you “olive” my love in return. I am eager to please and will do anything for affection over treats! I am calm and mature for a three-year-old, and young enough to learn all of the things that will make me the most well-mannered girl. I have made tremendous progress in my foster home, from being a shy, fearful, anxious girl, to being more confident, curious, and playful every day! I am doing really well in my foster home alone with no other pets, but with the right support, I could likely be successful in a variety of homes. Bubbles 2 YO Female 55 Pounds Dog Friendly Leash Trained Fostered in Yelm, WA Hi, I'm Bubbles! If you are reading this, then I know you will want to meet me. I have yet to meet someone I haven't liked, I will show you how much with a big Boxer hug. I love car rides and snuggles, walks are nice too. I have been working very hard in my foster home to learn leash manners and all the things you look for in a well behaved young lady. I do love my foster brother, but sometimes I forget that I don’t have to guard my toys and foster mom from him. I just need gentle reminders and encouragement to know that its ok to share.  My foster brother and I have a lot of fun together,  we do zoomies in the yard every day and even around the house sometimes. My foster brother knows that I like to be the boss and he lets me, so it would be best if I have any siblings that they are more submissive because I like to be the girl in charge. I am not aggressive or possessive over my food, my foster brother and I eat together, just in separate corners. I know that I would really enjoy a buddy in my new home. I have grown very fond of my foster family and don’t enjoy it when they leave, but I am patient when left free roaming in the house while they are gone. I have been very respectful, not destructive, and haven't chewed up anything. Crates are scary for me so I would prefer to wait and watch out the window till you get home. At night I would love to sleep in bed with you sharing a pillow, but I do just fine on my dog bed next to you if that’s not your thing. I am looking for an active family that will continue my training, help me feel secure and safe, and allow me to show you all of the Boxer love, hugs, and snuggles you can handle. See, I knew you would want to meet me so click my link! Story
Meadow is one fun pup. And she's excited for a fresh start! At 2-years-old, Meadow is full of enthusiastic energy and joy. Being around her just makes you feel good! Meadow is a spunky gal and looking for a family who can give her plenty of daily exercise, play, and mental enrichment. And of course, cookies! We don't know how Meadow is with other dogs, so any introductions to resident pups should be done slowly. She needs a home without cats or other small animals. Meadow will likely do well with older kids who are comfortable around large, jumpy dogs. Meadow would love a fenced yard to run around but may do okay in an apartment or condo with plenty of exercise. If you're ready to welcome home this precious pup, send in an adoption application today! *Meadow is in a foster home and not located in the shelter.
