Story
0914168 - **Meet Britt: Your Spunky Sweetheart!** Britt is a sturdy little gal with a big heart! At around 1.5 old and 45 lbs, this mystery Shepherd mix  is full of personality and ready for her forever home. She made her way to Colorado from a high-kill shelter in New Mexico, and now she's eager to begin the next chapter of her life. Britt loves playing with other dogs and has great energy, though she’s still learning to share her toys—probably because they’re the first she’s ever had! She’s already house and kennel trained!  Britt can be very nervous of loud noises and sudden movements, so she would do best in a house without young kids.  She also doesn't enjoy car rides (she has some motion sickness) and gets nervous on walks so she will need a mellow house where she can just be a homebody, haha. Affectionate (once she gets to know you), bright, and highly treat-motivated, Britt is ready to soak up all the love and attention she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion, Britt would make the perfect addition to your home! If you're interested in adopting her please complete an application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2186811##

Story
0822281 - Nymeria is a sweet girl who loves to get pet and is very affectionate.  We think she is a shepherd/husky mix, she is 6-7 years old but she is still very energetic and playful.  She would love her new human to be active and get her out on walks, hikes and runs.  She also likes to play in the water.  She does okay with other dogs out of the home as long as they are more on the submissive side but would do best as the only dog in the home.  She would also do best in a home with older kids (or no kids) and loved the teenagers in her foster home.  Nymeria loves toys and can often be found with a ball in her mouth.  She is house and crate trained. She is very smart and treat motivated so with a little training the sky is the limit for this girl!  If you are interested in meeting her please complete an application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##1508274##

Story
0424080 - Meet May — the gentle old soul in a young German Shepherd body! May is an almost 2-year-old GSD who brings all the sweetness, sensitivity, and loyalty the breed is known for. She’s fully house trained and does just fine in a crate when needed. May gets along with most dogs, though she can be a little unsure at first. If you have another dog at home, she would do best with a confident, friendly pup around her size to help her feel secure. She has lived with kids and has been wonderful with them, always gentle and respectful. New people and new dogs can make her a bit skittish at first, so she’s looking for an adopter with patience and understanding. The good news? It doesn’t take long for her to warm up — once she feels safe, she becomes a total cuddlebug who loves affection and closeness. If you’re looking for a loving, soulful companion who just needs someone to believe in her, May might be your girl. Story
*Currently fostered in Houston Texas, available for out of state adoptions via rescue transportation. Video meet and greet available prior to commitment* This dog is a collaborative effort between Moka's Mission and Houston Chow Chow Connection. Mocha is a fluffy mixed pup just eager to find her new lease in life. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas just moments before being euthanized. She is believed to be around 4 years old, and based on behaviors definitely has GSD, Chow Chow, and even possibly husky mixed in her as well. Current weight around 65, 70 lbs. Mocha is a smiling, eager to please, extremely intelligent pup who clearly has been desperate for reaching a potential that was never offered to her prior. She loves to play with toys now, ( was unfamiliar with on arrival) and can be quirky, and vocal during her playful bouts. A game of tug which result in some head pats is her favorite. She also is very smart, and when given attention and motivation is quick to learn. She already knows several basic commands including sit, shake, kennel, wait, settle, and leave it. She is extremely versatile and once she trusts you, will give you her best. If you want to go hiking or exercise, she is all about it. If you want a pup to relax in the home and enjoy a movie day, she is ready! She loves to curl up on the couch or at your feet when it's time to settle down, but when it's time to go she is the first one to be there and ready for you. She also loves to keep you company while you do the most menial house chore's such as laundry or dishes. Mocha clearly was kept away from other dogs and animals when she was owned previously, so we do think she'd be best as an only pup. Proper continued socialization training would be required in order for her to eventually be able to share space with other dogs, but she would need to be socialized as an only dog first before considering adding another in. She clearly has a desire to want to know other dogs and can walk by them and flirt while on leash just fine during walks. However, she hasn't had enough time and proper playmates to engage in playtime at present without being rough. Unfortunately, she is not ok with cats, which is to be expected of the breeds she possesses. Mocha is fully vetted meaning she is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and on monthly prevention for flea, tick, and heartworm. Her adoption fee and transport is dependent on services used. For more information on Mocha, please contact us at MokasMission@Gmail.com, or to apply for adoption please fill out an application here: https://form.jotform.com/41173109602142

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, my name is Willie and I'm a handsome, highly intelligent GSD/Husky mix. My DNA test says 80% German Shepherd.   For the last year, I've been living with a wonderful older couple, but I have too much energy for them, and they had a hard time meeting my needs. I lived with an older dog too but he passed away. I have been weaned off my  anxiety meds now that I'm in a foster home, and my exercise needs are being met.  I'd prefer a home without small children. I have been known to correct them with my mouth. Not a bite, just a hold.  When my foster parents let me outdoors, I'll patrol the property to make sure our turf is safe and secure. My foster parents have noticed that I'm uncomfortable around men who wear hats and sunglasses. I do have an independent nature, but I like to keep watch as to where my humans are. Besides playing fetch, I enjoy other outdoor adventures. I would love to find a home with a GSD/Husky-experienced adopter who will provide me with lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Adventure seekers, please take note! If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org and submit an online application. My adoption fee is $350.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 23, 2025, 9:34 am
