Story
Zoe is a beautiful black pit bull with a kind heart and a gentle demeanor. She’s about 3 to 4 years old and packed with love, loyalty, and a playful spirit. Zoe has been with her foster for several months and fit right in from the moment she arrived. She quickly made friends with the 2 other large male dogs in the home and is friendly and motherly to some of the other younger foster pups. She’s fantastic with dogs of all sizes—even the pushy ones—and shows zero aggression, even when picked on. Her easygoing nature and gentle soul truly shine through. She’s also curious about cats and gently tries to play with her foster sibling kitty. So cats are a possiblity but she will need an introduction. Zoe is house trained, crate trained and just an easy girl to have around!  Zoe is the ultimate cuddler—she’ll curl up with you on the bed, the couch, or even try to sit in your lap when she’s feeling a little scared. Stormy weather and windy nights make her nervous and she tries to find a place to hide. All she wants in those moments is to be held close and told she’s safe.  This sweet girl radiates love and forgiveness. She’s gentle, loyal, and has a beautiful way of matching your energy—ready to play when you are, and content to chill when it’s time to relax. Her foster mom lives in a very small town and has been unable to find a suitable home for her so she recently reached out to us to help! She loves her so much and wants her to have the best life. "If her foster didn’t already have a full house, Zoe wouldn’t be going anywhere. But she deserves a home where she’s not dodging the moods of other dogs and can just be a dog—carefree, loved, and safe." Zoe is waiting for someone who wants a true companion. Someone who will hold her when the wind gets rough, laugh at her silly zoomies, and let her be the Velcro dog she’s always wanted to be. Let her show you what unconditional love really looks like. If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2398988##

Story
Biggens' dad passed away unecpectedly leaving him all alone and he was taken to the shelter. The kids didn't want him and prompty called animal control to come get him. They couldn't even be bothered to take him to the shelter themselves. Yet he still wags his tail and greets the world with the softest eyes. This 65-pound sweetheart  was left tied up outside for days, waiting for someone to come back for him. He is ready for a new chapter. Despite his sad past, Biggens is nothing but love. He’s calm, well-mannered, and walks beautifully on a leash. He knows his basic commands (sit and shake!), and he’s just as content going for a stroll as he is curling up at your feet. We’ve been told he’s cat-friendly and he’s certainly people-friendly—he soaks up affection like a sponge. At 5 years old, Biggens is past the puppy antics but still has plenty of playful, goofy moments that will make you smile. He’s ready to be someone’s loyal companion, whether that’s lounging on the couch during a lazy Sunday or going for a walk to enjoy the fresh air. He’s been let down before, but he hasn’t given up hope. Could you be the one to show Biggens what it feels like to be truly loved?   Heart of Gold If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2375985##

Story
Gizmo was rescued from the streets of Texas where he was dumped by his previous owner. He languished there for a few months while a kind woman fed him eash day but was not able to take him in. Circle 2 Rescue stepped up to save this handsome boy and quickly got him to a vet. In his temporary foster home, Gizmo has been an absolute delight! His foster mom introduced him to the neighbor's puppy and Gizmo was so patient and well behaved, even though Gizmo was playing with his ball and the puppy was jumping all over him. Gizmo showed remarkable patience. He has been kind and respectiful of her young kids with closely supervised encounters and is well behaved in the house. His foster mom said he is a dream on leash and he loves to play fetch, even bringing the ball back to you! He is so happy and excited to see his foster mom when she returns from work each day from her teaching job. She said he makes her heart feel happy. These things indicate the Gizmo was likely a beloved family pet at one point in his life and he must have been so confused at being abandoned. But he hasn't let his hardship affect his happy attitude. This boy is a love!! At his vet appointment we learned that Gizmo is heart worm positive.  He has completed most of the treatment protocol and just needs an appointment on May 30th. Whilte the vet was not certain of Gizmo's age, he said he is likely around 5 years of age and he weighs 57 pounds. If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2304740##

Meet Gretel:A Beauty with a Heart of Gold! Gretel is a stunning pup with a captivating personality that matches her striking good looks!Rescued alongside her siblings from a tough situation in Houston, Gretel has proven resilient, affectionate, and ready to embark on her next big adventure—a loving forever home. With her dazzling pale green eyes, sleek fawn coat, and irresistibly floppy ears, Gretel turns heads everywhere she goes. Her DNA has been tested and she is 100% American Pitbull Terrier.Gretl is approx. one year old and weighs a whopping 35 pounds – a true pocket pitty!Gretel exudes a semi-shy but curious demeanor. She continues to come out of her shell at her foster home and is truly becoming a Colorado dog.She is really starting to enjoy going on hikes, is becoming wildlife aware (but doesn’t chase any), and is finding out how enjoyable life off the end of a leashreally is.  Her recall is amazing, will constantly check in, and when she does get tired, will walk right at your heel even without being asked. Her foster mom says she does not have a mean bone in her body and is working hard at getting braver everyday.  She is oh so smart and eager to learn and has already learned sit, down, wait, leave-it, off, come and let’s go.She loves to snuggle with her foster siblings (dogs) and gets along with them well and other dogs out and about.  She loves to initiate play with her foster siblings.  Her foster mom said it is comical to watch and listen to her squeaky bark when she wants to play along with the way she bounces up and down on all 4s as if she can’t contain her excitement. She is great at tuning into the other dogs’ demeanor and will leave them alone if they dont want to play. She is also super at self-entertaining.  Gretl is a sweet petite girl looking for a snuggle partner both human and dog.  She would probably be ok with cats as she is on the submissive side. If she can handle her spicy chihuahua mix foster sister with no problem, cats should be easy. Are you ready to welcome this green-eyed beauty into your life? Gretel is waiting to meet her perfect match—could it be you?Gretl is being fostered in Colorado Springs. Duben is a big, beefy boy with an even bigger heart! This handsome hunk is equal parts affectionate and playful—he loves to snuggle just as much as he loves a good romp in the yard. Duben is all about fun, whether he`s tossing around a toy or leaning in for pets and cuddles. With his size and enthusiasm, he may be a bit much for the littlest kids, so a home with children 10+ would be the best fit. Duben would love an adopter who can match his energy, give him lots of attention, and appreciate just how sweet and goofy a big dog can be.What I Need In a Home:* Kids 10+ mandatory

Story
Hi there, I’m Penny — but my foster fam calls me Sweet P because, well, I’m basically a warm fuzzy hug wrapped in fur. My favorite things? Easy: fetch (I’m a pro), zoomies in the yard (fast like lightning!), and couch snuggles (I’m a total cuddlebug). I’m the kind of gal who just wants to be close to my people — like, "snoozing-under-a-blanket-while-you-watch-TV" close. I don’t need much: a cozy spot, a chewy toy, and someone who’ll pet me while telling me I’m pretty (which I obviously am). I’ve been working hard on my leash manners (sometimes I get a little excited seeing other pups) and I’d probably do best as your one and only pet — more love for me, right? If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, low-maintenance best friend who will adore you forever... I’m your girl. Let’s make the couch snuggle dream a reality, yeah? ##1528906##
