Meet Teddy! Sweet Teddy is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. He is a sweet, affectionate little guy looking for a loving home to call his own. This wonderful little guy wants nothing more than to be loved and included in your daily life. Whether he's gazing up at you for a little attention or curled up peacefully beside you for a nap, Teddy finds his greatest happiness simply being near his people. At around 7 years old (per his previous owner), Teddy has a calm, easygoing personality. He isn't overly energetic, but he enjoys a leisurely stroll a couple of times a day to see what's happening around the neighborhood. Once he's had his outing, he's content to relax and spend time with his people and enjoy the comfort and security of home. Teddy has done well with the other foster dogs in his home and has shown himself to be a pleasant companion. While we are not aware of any experience with children, Teddy's gentle nature suggests he would be most comfortable in a quiet, low-key home where he can settle in and enjoy a peaceful routine, relaxing and feeling safe and loved. Teddy isn't asking for much, just a loving home, a soft place to rest, and someone to share his days with. In return, he'll offer loyal companionship, a warm presence by your side, and the kind of unconditional love that makes a house feel like home. Barley is an 11-year-old Shih Tzu from Tucson, Arizona. He has travelled across the country and has been the little brother for his now-passed Shih Tzu brother named Riley from a different origin family. Barley may be getting up there in age, but he still has plenty of personality. Despite significant vision challenges — his right eye barely functions and his left eye mainly detects shapes — Barley gets around remarkably well. He confidently navigates the house and steers clear of most obstacles, showing just how adaptable and resilient he is. He remains fully continent, potty trained, and enjoys the simple comforts of home life. Unfortunately, Barley’s current family is struggling to give him the attention he deserves. With a new baby and small children in the house, he often ends up spending too much time alone. They love him dearly and want what’s best for him: a peaceful environment where someone has the time to keep him company, offer gentle pets, and enjoy quiet moments.

Stormy is a sweet pup who craves your attention. She will do well in a quieter home. She does great in the car, loves walks and cuddles and of course treats! She has used a doggy door previously. She has been a bit of a picky eater so a little chicken will help her transition to new food. She is definitely a lap dog but will also cuddle up by herself in her favorite spot. She is a great dog that just needs a little patience to help her transition to her forever home.

Story
Percy came to us as a stray. He was found walking around our neighborhood and we were unable to find his owners even after posting him all over social media and lost pet sites as well. Percy is probably around 8 years old from the vet’s estimates. He is timid and shy at first but a very sweet and docile dog. He does great with my teenagers as well as my toddler and baby although sometimes he tries to run away from them. He is house trained and when the weather was cooler there were nights that he wanted to sleep outside so we would let him. We unfortunately already have 2 other dogs and the 4 kids and we just don’t have the time or attention to give to another dog. He is the sweetest!
