Story
Well hello there! We are Champ and Pepe, and we are poised to steal your heart. Champ is a 10 year old 20 lb ShihTzu/Poodle mix and Pepe is a 10 year old 8 lb Poodle/Schnauzer mix. (A Shih Poo and a Schnoodle, how cute are we?) We came to Forever Loved after our owner passed away, and in the blink of an eye, we were suddenly homeless. We have been so grateful to them for taking us in and getting to know how perfect of a pair we really are. We are the best of friends, and can often be seen sitting together on our chair, or laying together on a bed. When we go out to the play yard, we are not so “joined at the hip” that we can’t be apart - Champ loves to play fetch with the tennis ball and Pepe loves to find the closest human for some snuggles and petting. We are both reliably house trained, we keep our kennel clean and tidy, and we don’t fight over anything! We both love petting and affection and Champ will nudge you gently for more. Pepe will do a darling little dance for you, and how can you resist our darling faces? We aren’t loud and barky, and we ride nicely in the car. We can go for easy walks, but you won’t find us misbehaving if we don’t get vigorous walkies. We both have some luxating patellas in our rear legs, but we don’t need medication or pain killers. What that means is that when we walk quickly, we have this wonky gait, so don’t be alarmed. Pepe’s bloodwork came back with zero concerns and Champ shows indication that in the past he has had Valley Fever. The vet said that Champ will benefit from some weight loss which will help with his gait, and Pepe is just perfect! We were both great for bathing and grooming, and make sure you know that we will benefit from regular haircuts to keep us looking as adorable as ever! We are good with other dogs, and really, adopting us as a pair will be easy-peasy. You will get twice the love and laughs, and your heart will be twice as full. Just look at our precious faces and apply to meet us. You will be glad you did, we promise!

Story
Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Palmer, and I am s sweet Shichon (Shih Tzu/Bichon) girl who is 6 years old, and I weigh 9 pounds. I would love to have a sibling my size to learn from and play with. I am the best of both worlds! If you have been waiting for a gorgeous Shih Tzu+, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Story
Hi! I’m in desperate need of finding a loving home for my little girl Iggy. As priorities in my life have changed, so has iggy’s. Iggy needs a living home and family to go to! She’s 3 years old, 6.5lbs, vaccinated, spayed, and does not shed. She has some potty issues, but with a family with with enough time, that can be fixed. She is great with kids and other dogs. She is cuddly and kind, and will want to be by your side 24/7. I’m asking $150 for her rehoming fee, and I will send you off with Iggy supplies! You can contact me at (xxx) xxx-xxxx or email me at xxxx@xxxx.x . Please help me find her forever home!

Story
Clyde is a sweet 10 year old Shih Tzu.boy who lost his home because after having him 10 years, his owners decided he is not good around their kids. He did not deserve to be given up on just because he is aging. Additionally they allowed him to become very overweight which could definitely contribute to his sometimes grumpy mood. We have not observed any bad behavior here at the rescue. He is really a nice dog, easy to have around and not at all demanding. He is in good health, fully vetted and ready for a new home and a Weight Watchers membership. It is imperative that his new Adopter keeps him on a diet to help him reduce his weight. He's clearly not comfortable how he is. He would love the yard to run around in as well as to bask in the sun. He may need some forced walking to help with retrieving the waistline he once enjoyed. according to his former owners, Clyde is housetrained. Clyde is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will require brushing and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Clydes's Adoption fee is $275 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! If you would like to be considered to for this adoption or any of our amazing rescues, please fill out the application with the help of this link. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AZST/Dog. We review each application carefully. Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest. We appreciate all applicants and do our best to pair ever dog and family for a successful and happy life.

Story
Sammy is a darling blond, 2 year old Shih Tzu boy who is ready for his forever home. Sammy walks well on a leash and doesn't pull. He knows how to sit when asked and he is very playful. He is a very calm boy and quite the snuggle bug. He is not crazy about cages but is pad trained. He will potty outdoors if you take him there. He is missing an eye that he lost as a pup but he gets along fine without it and it has been properly closed. He likes to sleep with his person at night if he can. Other than being a bit protective of his food he gets along with other dogs but he would do fine as an only dog we believe. He is fully vetted and ready to become part of a new family. Sammy is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Sammy's adoption fee is $400 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue.
