Her owner was leaving the country on an emergency and sadly could not take her on the flight due to her age. Despite her age and health limitations, she is the most loving and sweetet girl around. She is crate and potty trained. She gets along well with other dogs. Emily would make the most excellent lap dog and loves napping with her people! Emily wants nothing more than to be your golden girl in her golden years. Check her out!

Story
Winnie is absolutely adorable. He recently lost his person, who had him since he was a puppy. He is now a very spry 13-year-old dog. He is potty-trained, walks well on a leash, and gets along with other dogs of all sizes and cats. He's also great with people.   His previous owner was confined to a wheelchair in her later years, so Winnie is used to being around wheelchairs. His groomer and veterinary office love him. One thing to note is that Winnie loves to pick up everything and eat it, so he does need to be watched.   He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for his new home. He will happily sleep in his bed and also likes his kennel. She has been very friendly with the foster's dog and cat and we think she would enjoy a doggy friend. She will need some time to decompress in her new home as life threw her a curveball when she landed at the shelter.
