I'm a Blue-Tzu Heeler. My momma was a small Blue Heeler and my daddy was a Shih Tzu. What a sight that love affair that must have been! Our litter are known as the Tasty Troupe at the Humane Society. We serve up playful personalities with every wag and wiggle. We have a lot of energy and are known to be great companions. We will be on the smaller side. We are 4 pounders (without the cheese) right now. Select your favorite (Wendy, Freddy, Brenda, Curly Q, Bell, Arby, Boone or Smith) and you'll have the perfect lunch and pup! If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2371206##

Story
Michelangelo is a 6lb adorably scruffy pup. We are guessing he will be about 20-35lbs when full grown (his mom weighs about 10lbs but we think dad was bigger). Michelangelo's mom was dumped at a shelter in Kansas when she was pregnant.  We tried to get her out of the shelter before giving birth but unfortunately the stress of the shelter forced into early labor.  Luckily all 4 puppies and Momma were healthy and we were able to transport them here within a couple days, to get them into a safe and calm foster home. Fast forward 9 weeks, Michelangelo and his siblings have been fully vetted, socialized, and well taken care of.  They are now ready to find forever families of their very own.   The foster home has many other dogs, big and small, that all the pups love to romp around with and follow.  They get along with all dogs and all humans.  They are happy, healthy, loving, and playful pups.  They love to snuggle and pile on their human fosters when they are around.  These for brothers are just overall wonderful little pups.
