FALKOR IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED! Meet Falkor, a 2- to 3-year-old dog weighing 18-20 pounds. He is housebroken, crate trained, and demonstrating good behavior around other dogs, older children, as well as cats. Falkor enjoys cuddling and watching TV, although he does not yet appear to be familiar with toys. He is seeking a forever home. He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Falkor up north to his new family. He is 2 years old and a very small 13 pounds. We all thought he barely weighed 10 pounds. How in the world could someone put this adorable little guy out in the streets? He was so matted and dirty and no microchip and after posting him on social media looking for his owner, no one came forward. I am honored to have him in my home, no faults for him, a total and complete package. He is routine, he knows where his house is and when you let him out he goes straight to the backdoor to go outside to potty. He ventures around a little outside, exploring new stuff and then comes back so he can spread all of his love. Okay, sorry for the hack job I did on grooming him but my main concern was just to get the matting off. I cannot tell you how giddy this guy makes me, he is such a good little sport. PHILLIP is non-reactive to dogs, he does not care if they are barking their heads off, he just goes trotting along about his business. There is no aggression in him anywhere. I love holding and kissing on him and you can just feel that he is so grateful. He walks great on a leash, no pulling and rides in the car without getting sick looking out the window to see what the world has to offer.Do not take time to think about this guy, he is a great catch and a wonderful family pet. He had been on the streets a long time by no fault of his own. Someone on a street in San Antonio knew him and his owner. His owner died and the family put poor ANDY on the streets. The neighbors felt sorry for him and would take turns feeding him. Once the winter got cold on a 26 degree night, a friendly neighbor put a sweater on him and allowed him to sleep in their gargage but that neighbor too tossed him back on the streets. Another neighbor could not stand it any longer and called me to take him in. It took 2 days to groom ANDY with the hard mounds of mats on him and he just sat there very quiet and patiently waiting to get all of the stuff off of him. Pictures are available. ANDY is 2 years old and 18 pounds and a great little guy. He really likes following me around but he is pretty independent, not a velcro dog although he does like to cuddle and be close to watch TV. He walks very well on a leash and does not get car sick and of course he still very well for a bath and to be groomed which he will need to be groomed about every 6-8 weeks.
