PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION.LIZZIE is currently in foster care in Houston, Texas and the adoption fee includes her transportation with Mighty Mutt Shipping to the north east if interested there is an application on our website https:/www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org/apply/ Sweet Lizzie is approx 5 years and 32 lbs,she is the sweetest girl but would do better as an only dog she has been treated for heartworms,had her Acl and miniscus repaired and her back left leg amputated due to an old fracture that had healed correctly and was not repairable so she can be a little testy with other dogs that are pushy and get in her face or space, she just wants to observe she loves people and loves getting lots of attention she is very quiet and well behaved and enjoys sitting outside on the patio on a big comfy bed or in a dog bed wherever her foster is , she is going to make a great companion for some lucky people THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS,WE SHIP OUR DOGS WITH MIGHTY MUTT SHIPPING TO THE NORTH EAST OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under that age of 8 years. The total adoption fee of $400 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. Herschel doesn't like to be handled or pet or will bite. Who knows the reason, it doesn't really matter why... I know and respect my dogs triggers and don't get bit. He's my baby and always wants to be close, just on his terms. Just like Johnnie. We will be working w a trainer for Johnnie.  He's a senior, shih tzu who is blind in one eye. Romeo and Juliet were both street dogs, traveling everywhere together, looking for food and love. They were finally picked up by animal control in Georgia where they remained on a stray hold until they could be released. Animal control soon realized that Juliet was pregnant by Romeo so they called us to see if we could get them out of there before she gave birth. We had them immediately transported here to Tennessee and two weeks later she gave birth to 7 puppies. Sadly one was stillborn but the remaining 6 are all healthy happy babies who have all been adopted. Now it's Juliet's turn. She is crate trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and heart worm negative. Juliet is very high energy but extremely lovable. She is excellent with my 3 year old granddaughter and as you can see in the photo, fine with cats. Wouldn't you love to give her a loving and forever home! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION ADOPTION FEE $700
