The total adoption fee of $400 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. Casey is ready to find a fabulous forever family! He's a senior shih tzu, about 11 years old, who came to AATDR from the Deep River case in CT. He is an absolute sweetie! We've never seen him with a cat but he would probably be fine - a meet and greet would tell us for sure. He'll do best in a quiet home with adults or older children. As a senior, he deserves to be able to just relax and enjoy his retirement. He'd love a canine companion who is a bit laid back. He does have some visual impairment but it doesn't get in his way at all. He needs eye drops daily, which are easy to give and inexpensive. He will have his neuter surgery on 6/10/24. . Let's show Casey just how wonderful life can be with a loving forever family, and that his present and future can be WAY better than his past! He's such a wonderful, deserving dog!
