Zico is a shih tzu and he’s around 8 years old. He’s a calm dog and super friendly! Barks at the usual squirrel or his dog friends. Has never had any behavioral issues and is well behaved with children and other than the occasional stealing of a known toddlers treat he’s a good dog. We got Zico when he was a few months old and as well as the kids surrounding Zico everyone grows up. With a busy schedule we are unable to give him our utmost attention. He loves roaming around and exploring! Can swim but would rather take a stroll! Zico isn’t the most fond of brothers or sisters a little jealous guy that’s all bark and no bite. He is potty trained but with new environments he may make a few mistakes and could benefit from proper training. As long as you have patience he will be an amazing companion!

Anthony came to Rescue when his elderly owner passed away, and there was no back up plan for his care. The local Humane Society took him in. He's waiting for a new home, now living in a foster home. The foster home said Anthony is doing great. For a senior dog, about 10 yr., or more, he has a spring in his step and can still play like a puppy. He has lost the sight in one eye, but it doesn't slow him down. Anthony needs a home that is quiet, since that is what he's known his whole life. Maybe with a senior human or mature adult(s). He is housetrained and has no issues with his health, other dogs or people. Anthony's adoption fee is $300 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. BONDED PAIR, MUST ADOPT BOTH Hi. I'm Bitzee, a 9 y/o golden/white female shitsu. I'm part of a bonded pair with my 13 y/o chi mix Judah Chase. You see, our owner had to go into hospice care and it broke her heart to give us up. She made the rescue lady promise to adopt us together as we have always lived in the same household and don't know any different. My brother and I get along very well and it is kind of like getting 2 for the price of 1. I am currently about 4 pounds overweight ( currently 14 pounds) but foster Mom is diligently working on that with me. Despite being overweight, I am playful and like to go for walks. I had previously lived in an apartment and hadn't been able to get much exercise because of my owner's health. I had been going potty on potty pads but am now learning to go outside through the doggy door. My brother has already mastered the doggy door and I should soon. I like to go for car rides and am kennel trained. I am able to be kept unkenneled without being destructive and am not a huge barker. I am extremely loyal and like to follow my human around. I am good with children and other small dogs. It is unknown as to how I would do with large dogs or cats since foster mom doesn't have either. So, if you are interested in a bonded pair of small dogs, have your peeps contact my peeps and let's get this love fest started.
