Story
Hi, I'm Roux, a cute little bundle of fur! My foster reports that I am super sweet, very quiet (ZERO barking), and get along with all sizes of dogs. I'm a senior gal who is pee pad trained, and my foster is comfortable allowing me free range of the house. I always hit the pad and have no problem navigating the household even though my vision is not 100 percent! Not bad for an older gal! I enjoy roaming the backyard and will wait at the back door to come back in. While I enjoy the outside, I'm not a "take for a walk on leash" kind of dog. So no worries if you are a total couch potato and just want to get a bit of fresh air from time to time! I am looking for a super chill household and I would be a super companion for a senior. Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee covers; please consider making a tax-deductible donation by visiting us at https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor. Donations help us offset vetting, boarding costs, and additional medical treatments for dogs who need it. For more information on Hatton Animal Rescue, visit our website at: hattonanimalrescue.org.

Story
Hi there, I'm Lola, and I had a rough start when I was rescued by Hatton. But lucky for me, all of my serious medical issues have been resolved and I am MORE than ready for my new home. I hope that you will be there for me! My foster says that I am super sweet, very quiet (ZERO barking) and great with dogs of all sizes. I am a bit nervous with people, but not bad. I will stiffen a bit when you pick me up, but otherwise, I'm okay. While I am not housetrained, if you take me out on a regular basis, I won't have accidents. I just don't know how to tell you to take me out. I love a good romp in the yard; but I am not really interested in leash walking. My eyesight is waning, but I still see well enough to get around. I'm looking for a super chill household since I am a super chill gal. I'd be the perfect companion for a senior looking for quiet company. Story
Unfortunately, I am in a difficult season right now and need to find a temporary home for my beloved dog, Marley. This is not a decision I ever imagined making, and my hope is to reunite with him once my housing situation improves. Marley has been part of my family since 2012. He was originally flown in from Kansas when my grandmother was battling cancer, and he quickly became her companion and source of comfort. After she passed, Marley stayed with me, and he has been a loyal, loving presence ever since. Marley is a 13-year-old senior dog with the sweetest personality. He absolutely loves to cuddle, nap, and be close to his people. He enjoys being active when he feels up to it, going on walks, and simply living a peaceful, comfortable life. He is well-behaved and deserves a home where he can move freely, receive affection, and continue his normal routine. I am not looking to surrender him permanently—only to find a caring person or family who can provide a safe, loving, temporary home

Story
Meet Sky!Sky is an adorable 1-year-old Shih Tzu–terrier mix who came to us as a stray in very rough shape. She arrived extremely matted, and while we don’t know her past or how long she lived that way, what we do know is that she’s truly blossoming now. After some much-needed grooming and care, Sky has come out of her shell and is showing us her bright, happy personality. She’s full of energy, loves to run and play in the yard, and is ready to enjoy life in a loving home.Sky is still working on basic manners and training, but she’s eager to learn and thrives on positive attention. She would likely do well with children, as she’s sweet, gentle, and enjoys being around people. Her behavior with other dogs and cats is currently unknown. If you’re looking for a cheerful, affectionate young dog who’s ready for a fresh start, Sky might be the perfect match for you!
