  Meet Gidget!   Gidget is a sweet, calm 13-year-old girl who proves that age is just a number! She's a playful pup who still loves chasing toys you throw and can't resist a squeaky toy. After a fun play session, she's happiest curled up next to her people for some quality cuddle time.   Gidget is housebroken, enjoys car rides, and gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and even bunnies, making her a great fit for a variety of homes. She has a gentle, easygoing personality and would love a family to spend her golden years with—whether that's going on adventures or simply relaxing together on the couch.   If you're looking for a loving, loyal companion with the perfect mix of playful energy and laid-back charm, Gidget is ready to steal your heart! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Sweet Jeffrey is looking for a new forever home after his elderly owners moved into assisted living and could no longer care for him. Jeffrey is fully vetted, neutered and even had a recent dental. Jeffrey is used to a quiet life with his people and probably would do best in a similar quiet household. Senior owners would be great for him! Jeffrey has been doing great with dogs of all sizes in his foster home. He is not interested in playing much with other dogs but is very happy to share the couch. He has shown no interest in the cats that free roam in his foster home. Jeffrey has not had a lot of interactions with children. Jeffrey is crate trained and goes in his crate on his own when home alone. Grandparents who would have the occasional visit of grandkids could easily crate Jeffrey in a quiet room during visit time. Jeffrey is leash trained and walks well on leash. We have Jeffrey marked as partially housetrained because he was having some accidents in the house lately. However it is unclear if this was his fault or if his owners could no longer take him out on time for potty breaks. Jeffrey is a cuddler. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Say Hello to Stich! Stitch just recently came to DASH when his owner could no longer care for him. He is a little underweight and he had some pretty severe mats on his legs, but those have been addressed. Stitch's foster mom is just getting to know him, but so far he is just the sweetest soul. He follows her around and wants to be as close to her as possible. He loves being petted and sleeping in bed too. He walks pretty well on a leash and is still working on going potty outside all the time. He does not like being in a crate, he will whine, but is not destructive if left out when his foster is not home. He fit right in with the other dogs in the foster home. He has not been cat or kid tested, but his foster mom feels he would be fine with older kids who are respectful of his size.
